Who won the 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide event?

Brendan Steele won the 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide event with a four round cumulative score of 18 under par.

Tyrrell Hatton $11,000

The talented Englishman arrives at this week’s LIV Golf Tour event on the heels of four consecutive top six finishes (LIV Golf and DP World Tour events combined), including a win at the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic last month.

Due to Tyrrell Hatton’s quality win at the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Hatton fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic, in relation to the field, Tyrrell Hatton ranked fourth in strokes gained off the tee (1.50), 17th in strokes gained approach (1.01), third in strokes gained tee to green (2.88), first in GIR (greens in regulation-80.56%) and fifth in overall putting average (1.64).

In conclusion, I fully expect Tyrrell Hatton to continue his outstanding play in the final round of LIV Golf Adelaide later today.

Bryson DeChambeau $10,700

Bryson DeChambeau has accumulated two consecutive top six finishes (LIV Golf and Asian Tours combined), including a second-place result at the 2024 Asian International Series India event two weeks ago.

Upon the completion of this morning’s second round of the 2025 LIV Golf Adelaide event, Bryson DeChambeau is currently in ninth place with a cumulative two round score of three under par.

David Puig $8,500

David Puig has amassed four top 19 finishes in his last five tournaments played (DP World and LIV Golf Tours combined), including a third-place result at the 2025 Ras Al Khaimah Championship three weeks ago.

Sam Horsfield $6,600

Last week, Sam Horsfield fired a final round 69 at the 2025 LIV Golf Riyadh event on his way to an eventual 12th place finish.

The talented Australian has amassed three top 25 finishes in his last four events played (DP World, Asian and LIV Golf Tours combined), including a second-place result at the 2024 BMW Australian PGA Championship in December.

Cam Smith certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2023, Cam Smith has played this week’s LIV Golf Tour event two times. In those two events played, Cam Smith compiled two top 14 finishes, including a third-place result at the 2023 LIV Golf Adelaide event

In summary, I fully expect Cam Smith to continue his outstanding play at the Grange Club this week.

Bryson DeChambeau $10,800

The 2024 U.S. Open champion arrives at this week’s LIV golf event in rather good form. More specifically, DeChambeau has accumulated two consecutive top six finishes (LIV Golf and Asian Tours combined), including a second place result at the 2024 Asian International Series India event two weeks ago.

Bryson DeChambeau is also playing well from a statistical perspective. DeChambeau is currently ranked 12th in total birdies made (14), seventh in driving accuracy (64.29%) and second in GIR (greens in regulation-87.04%) on the LIV Golf Tour.

In my view, Bryson DeChambeau is one of the best overall golf talents on the LIV Golf Tour today. With that said, I am rolling with DeChambeau as a flex play for this LIV Golf Tour Draftkings contest.

Dean Burmester $8,900

Last week, Dean Burmester fired a final round 65 at the 2025 LIV Golf Riyadh event on his way to an eventual fourth place finish.

Additionally, Dean Burmester finished third at the 2023 LIV Golf Adelaide event. Burmester posted a three round cumulative score of 16 under par at the 2023 LIV Golf Adelaide tournament.

Anirban Lahiri $7,400

Anirban Lahiri has tallied three top 12 finishes in his last four tournaments played (LIV Golf and Asian Tours combined), including a 12th place result at the 2025 LIV Golf Riyadh event last week.

Looking at the data from last week more closely, in Anirban Lahiri’s third and final round of last week’s 2025 Riyadh event, Lahiri tallied three birdies and no bogeys on his way to posting a 65.

It is noteworthy that in my opinion, Anirban Lahiri’s low Draftkings price of only $7,400 presents the best fantasy value of any golfer on this DFS slate. For the reasons just outlined, I am backing Anirban Lahiri as a flex play for this LIV Golf Tour Draftkings contest.

Joaquin Niemann $11,000

Joaquin Niemann arrives at this week’s tournament in rather good form. Niemann has accumulated four consecutive top 22 finishes (LIV Golf and PGA Tours combined), including a win at the 2024 LIV Golf Jeddah event last month.

Niemann certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Niemann is currently ranked fourth in GIR (greens in regulation-74.07%), tenth in putting average (1.57), and second in driving distance (315.7) on the LIV Golf Tour.

It should also be noted that Joaquin Niemann has posted a quality tournament result in Australia previously. Niemann won the 2023 ISPS Handa Australian Open on the DP World Tour in December.

Cameron Smith $9,900

The talented Australian has accumulated two top six finishes in his last three events played (LIV Golf and PGA Tours combined), including an impressive sixth place result at the 2024 Masters Tournament two weeks ago.

Cameron Smith finished fourth at the inaugural 2023 LIV Golf Adelaide event.

Abraham Ancer $9,400

Abraham Ancer arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of three consecutive top 12 finishes on the LIV Golf Tour, including a win at the 2024 LIV Golf Hong Kong event last month.

Ancer has played well at the Grange Golf Club in the past. More specifically, Ancer finished 11th at the 2023 LIV Golf Adelaide event.

Lucas Herbert $8,200

Since the beginning of February, Lucas Herbert has played seven tournaments (LIV Golf and Asian Tours combined). In those seven events just mentioned, Herbert accumulated four top 22 finishes, including a third-place result at the 2024 International Series Macau five weeks ago.
