The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Binghamton Bearcats meet Thursday in college basketball action from Binghamton University Events Center. Here’s a Binghamton vs New Hampshire prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Binghamton vs New Hampshire pick.

New Hampshire Wildcats Betting Preview

It’s been a tough year so far for New Hampshire. Prior to this month the Wildcats had only one instance of consecutive wins, but they’ve been doing better lately. New Hampshire opened up the season on a 2-6 run though, taking losses to UMass, UConn, Fairfield, Brown, Sacred Heart and Holy Cross. A losing streak versus Marist, Columbia, Fordham, Dartmouth, Harvard, Stonehill, Iowa, Vermont and Albany came next, then wins over Binghamton and UMBC. After losses to NJIT, Bryant, UMass Lowell and Maine, the Wildcats have since gone 3-1 with a lone loss to Vermont. The wins otherwise in that time have come courtesy of UMBC, NJIT and UMass Lowell. That gives New Hampshire a 7-20 overall run through 27 games this year.

In the UMass Lowell matchup back on Saturday, the Wildcats came out of the break with a 38-28 deficit. New Hampshire woke up after the first half though, hitting a 52-41 run the rest of the way for an 80-79 comeback victory. Leading the team in scoring was Sami Pissis with 21 points, six assists, two steals and two rebounds. Khalil Badru had 13 points with four rebounds and two steals, while Jawarie Hamelin added 11 points with four steals. Anthony McComb led the bench scoring with 16 points, four rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes of action.

Binghamton Bearcats Betting Preview

Over on the Binghamton side, they had a good run going back in December, but aside from that it’s been a struggle this season in the record column. The Bearcats opened on a 2-6 run as well with losses to Penn Sate, Miami, Fordham, Longwood, Central Connecticut and Niagara. A nice 7-1 stretch came next with wins over Long Island U, Lafayette, Le Moyne, Lancaster Bible College, Mercyhurst, Army and UMBC (with a loss to Marist), then losses to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Albany and Bryant. It’s been a 4-2 stretch over the last half dozen games though, as Binghamton has dispatched Vermont, Albany, UMass Lowell and NJIT with losses to Bryant and UMBC. So far that gives the Bearcats a 13-14 overall run through 27 outings.

Matched up against NJIT in their Saturday outing, the Bearcats were in the locker room with a three-point edge. Binghamton ended up needing overtime, but in the end they secured a 75-71 victory. Nehemiah Benson put up 20 points with 11 rebounds and two assists. Gavin Walsh also doubled up with his 17 points and 16 rebounds with two assists. Both Chris Walker (nine rebounds; three assists) and Wes Peterson (seven rebounds; four steals) added 11 points each, while Ben Callahan-Gold chipped in eight bench points with six boards.

Why the Binghamton Bearcats will win

  • Binghamton has won each of its last seven home games following a road win.
  • New Hampshire has lost nine of its last 10 road games against the America East Conference.
  • New Hampshire has lost the first half in each of its last eight games against the America East Conference.

Why the New Hampshire Wildcats will win

  • New Hampshire has won three of its last four games.
  • The road team has won the first half in four of the last five games between New Hampshire and Binghamton.

Binghamton vs New Hampshire Prediction

I’ll stick with Binghamton. The bad news here is that there’s not a lot to get excited about if you’re not a fan of either team. The good news is that it should be a competitive matchup. Binghamton is coming off a tight win over a struggling NJIT team, shooting an ugly 0-of-15 from 3-point range with 15 turnovers along the way. The win still counts though, and that makes four in the last six games for the Bearcats.

These teams last saw each other back on January 11, in a 79-72 road loss for Binghamton. In that one the Bearcats shot a tepid 41.4 percent from the field with 11 turnovers and got outscored 42-30 in the second half. There’s plenty for the Bearcats to clean up in the rematch, but I think the familiar home surroundings will help.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and the UConn Huskies meet Saturday in college basketball action from the XL Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a UCONN vs New Hampshire Prediction.

New Hampshire Recap

The New Hampshire Wildcats come into this one looking to build on their first win of the season coming in the form of a 99-69 win over subdivision UMass-Boston last time out. After this game, New Hampshire will head home for a matchup with Fairfield.

Wildcats Get In Win Column

Anthony McComb III and Sami Pissis share New Hampshire’s lead in scoring, averaging 16.5 PPG with McComb III logging 3 RPG while Pissis has a team-high 8 RPG this season. Dylan Saunders has 10.5 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for New Hampshire so far this season while Rex Sunderland has 8 PPG, 5 RPG and a team-high 6 APG this season. As a team, New Hampshire is averaging 86.5 PPG on 45.2% shooting from the field, 41.7% from three and 63.4% from the foul line this season.

Why the New Hampshire Wildcats will win

  • New Hampshire has won three of its last four night games against non-Conference opponents.

UConn Recap

The UConn Huskies come into this game looking to add on to a 92-56 win over Sacred Heart last time out. After this game, UConn will welcome Le Moyne to town.

Huskies Looking For Another Blowout

Alex Karaban led the Huskies with 20 points on 7 of 9 shooting with 5 threes and a team-high 7 assists along with 6 rebounds and 7 blocks while Liam McNeeley added 18 points on 6 of 11 shooting with 3 threes and a team-high 10 rebounds for the double-double. Solo Ball added 16 points on 5 of 9 shooting with 4 threes while Tarris Reed Jr. has 15 points on 5 of 7 shooting with 11 rebounds, a pair of steals and a pair of blocks as well. Hassan Diarra added 6 assists as well in the win. As a team, UConn is averaging 92 PPG on 51.6% shooting from the field, 41.9% from three and 65.2% from the foul line this season.

Why the Connecticut Huskies will win

  • Connecticut has won each of its last 20 games against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • New Hampshire has lost each of its last six road games.

UCONN vs New Hampshire Prediction

I’m on UConn here. This is a big number, but we saw UConn cover a similar number against Sacred Heart, and last year, UConn had multiple 30+ point wins in non-conference play against inferior opposition. My concern for New Hampshire is that they gave up 103 to UMass in their opener, and allowed UMass to get whatever they wanted on the floor. I think this one could be covered by halftime. Give me the Huskies.

New Hampshire Preview

The New Hampshire Wildcats are 16-14 (7-9) this season after they defeated Binghamton by a score of 77-64 in their last game. New Hampshire trailed 34-32 at halftime, but they did out score Binghamton 45-30 in the second half for the win. The Wildcats shot 44.4% from the field and made 10 three pointers in the game. New Hampshire had lost their previous four games against Vermont, Binghamton, Albany, and UMBC. The Wildcats are scoring 74.6 points per game with 37.2 rebounds per game and 11.8 assists per game, while giving up 74.4 points against per game this year. Clarence Daniels is averaging 19.6 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game, and 1.3 steals per game. New Hampshire is shooting 41.6% from the field, 74.2% on free throws, and 33% on three pointers this season.

Vermont Preview

The Vermont Catamounts are 26-6 (15-1) this year after they defeated Albany by a score of 75-72 in their last game. Vermont trailed 37-31 at halftime, but did score 44 points in the second half for the win. The Catamounts shot 43.6% from the field and made 23 free throws in the game. Vermont has won eight games in a row and 17 of their last 18. The Catamounts are scoring 72.7 points per game with 34.8 rebounds per game and 13.8 assists per game, while giving up 63.2 points against per game this season. TJ Long is averaging 12.3 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Vermont is shooting 46.1% from the field, 71.9% on free throws, and 34.7% on three pointers this year.

New Hampshire vs Vermont Betting Prediction

Vermont comes into this game as the #1 seed in the America East Tournament, as they were 15-1 in conference play during the regular season. The Catamounts didn’t play their best in their last game against Albany and needed a few big shots late in the game for the win. New Hampshire is only shooting 41.6% from the field, which is going to be an issue against Vermont’s great defense. Vermont won both meetings during the regular season by scores of 70-54 and 68-64. Vermont has struggled in their last two games and I think New Hampshire will have confidence after their narrow loss just a couple of games ago. Take the points with the Wildcats.

The Binghamton Bearcats and New Hampshire Wildcats face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown in the America East Tournament at Lundholm Gym. These two teams faced off on March 2nd and it was Binghamton that secured the 87-74 victory.

New Hampshire Looks to Bounce Back

New Hampshire faced off against Vermont in the last game and the offense only scored 64 points while the defense gave up 68 points. Ahmad Robinson had a strong game putting up 26 points, four rebounds, and two assists. New Hampshire is averaging 74.6 points while their defense is giving up 74.7 points per game. Clarence Daniels is having a strong season averaging 19.6 points while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from behind the three point line.

Binghamton Looks for Fourth Straight Win

Binghamton has played well heading into this game and they have won three games in a row. In the last game against UMBC, it wasn’t the best game, but Binghamton was able to pick up the one point road victory. Nehemiah Benson had a strong game putting up 16 points, five rebounds, and one assist. Binghamton is averaging 72.4 points while their defense is giving up 70.6 points per game. Tymu Chenery is averaging 14.8 points while shooting 50.9 percent from the field. Binghamton needs to get out to a fast start and really put the pressure on here.

Binghamton vs New Hampshire Betting Prediction

Binghamton is going to put on a show in this game with the offense and that is going to be the difference here. When these two teams just faced off, Binghamton scored 87 points and they are going to have no issue running up the score here. New Hampshire is going to struggle to keep up and that is going to be the difference as Binghamton gets the job done. Back Binghamton against the spread.

The New Hampshire Wildcats look for a win after splitting their last 8 games. The Maine Black Bears are riding a 4-game losing streak. Let’s preview this game and give out a New Hampshire Wildcats vs Maine Black Bears prediction.

New Hampshire Wildcats Betting Preview

The New Hampshire Wildcats are coming off losses to Iowa State and UMass Lowell. The New Hampshire Wildcats are averaging 78 points on 41.9 percent shooting and allowing 73.6 points on 40.9 percent shooting. Clarence Daniels is averaging 19.9 points and 9.5 rebounds, while Ahmad Robinson is averaging 15.6 points and 4.3 rebounds. Jaxson Baker is grabbing 6.1 rebounds and Naim Miller is dishing 1.5 assists. The New Hampshire Wildcats are shooting 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 71.3 percent from the free throw line. The New Hampshire Wildcats are allowing 26.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.6 rebounds per game.

Maine Black Bears Betting Preview

The Maine Black Bears lost to UCF, FIU, Minnesota, and Vermont during this streak. The Maine Black Bears are averaging 68.1 points on 45.7 percent shooting and allowing 66.2 points on 43.6 percent shooting. Kellen Tynes is averaging 13.8 points and 3.5 assists, while Peter Filipovity is averaging 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds. AJ Lopez is grabbing 1.6 rebounds and Ja’Shonte Wright-McLeish is dishing 1.2 assists. The Maine Black Bears are shooting 29.4 percent from beyond the arc and 72.8 percent from the free throw line. The Maine Black Bears are allowing 31.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 29.8 rebounds per game.

New Hampshire Wildcats vs Maine Black Bears prediction

The New Hampshire Wildcats have won 7 of the last 9 meetings against Maine, so there’s a case to be made for the road dog. However, the Maine Black Bears have spent the last month on the road which includes games against UCF and Minnesota, so this is a battle tested team coming back home. The Maine Black Bears are also far more efficient on the offensive side and will have the best player on the floor for this matchup. Maine is 3-1 SU at home this season. We’re not being asked to lay anything crazy. Give me the Maine Black Bears and the small chalk.

The UMass-Lowell River Hawks are simply the better team no matter how you slice it and when these teams met about a week ago, they moped the floor with New Hampshire 92-55. UMass-Lowell is 10-3-1 ATS at home, 7-3-1 ATS as double-digit favorites, and wins in the favorite role by an average of 11 points. I’d need more points to consider New Hampshire.

Randy’s Free Pick

I don’t want to back the NJIT Highlanders as much as the next guy, but there’s no way I’m laying chalk with New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Wildcats not only lose on the season, but they’re losing their last 5 games by an average of 9.4 points. Yes, home court maters, but still. It’s NJIT and the points or pass.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Vermont Catamounts meet in college basketball action from the Patrick Gymnasium on Wednesday night. Let’s dive into the odds, injuries, matchup history and make a prediction for this game.

Odds

Vermont is listed as a 12.5-point home favorite with a ML price of -800. The total for this game is set at 130.5 points.

Injuries

Neither side has anyone listed on the injury report for this game, so barring any last-minute announcements, both sides will come into this game at full strength.

Matchup History

New Hampshire’s 67-60 win over Vermont on January 8th, 2023, snapped Vermont’s 15-game win streak over the Wildcats in this matchup.

Trends

New Hampshire is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games against a team with a home winning percentage above .600 while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games following an ATS loss. Vermont is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games while the over is 26-10 in their last 36 games following a win.

Pick

I’m backing Vermont here. New Hampshire got the better of the Catamounts in the first meeting, but historically Vermont’s had the upper hand by a fair margin in this matchup and at home I look for that to be the case as well as Vermont exacts some revenge. Give me the Catamounts here.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and NJIT Highlanders meet Wednesday in college basketball action at the NJIT Wellness and Events Center. Let’s preview this game and give out a pick and prediction.

The New Hampshire Wildcats Betting Preview

The New Hampshire Wildcats are averaging 68.2 points on 40.9 percent shooting and allowing 65.8 points on 41.7 percent shooting. Clarence O. Daniels II is averaging 15.5 points and 10.9 rebounds, while Nick Johnson is averaging 13.5 points and 4.9 rebounds. Kyree Brown is the third double-digit scorer and Matt Herasme is dishing 2 assists. The New Hampshire Wildcats are shooting 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 71.2 percent from the free throw line. The New Hampshire Wildcats are allowing 31.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 34.2 rebounds per game.

The NJIT Highlanders Betting Preview

The NJIT Highlanders are averaging 67.2 points on 42.7 percent shooting and allowing 71.2 points on 44.4 percent shooting. Miles Coleman is averaging 14.5 points and 4.1 rebounds, while Kevin Osawe is averaging 10.1 points and 1 assist. Mekhi Gray is dishing 2.3 assists and Adam Hess is grabbing 2.2 rebounds. The NJIT Highlanders are shooting 34.9 percent from beyond the arc and 65.7 percent from the free throw line. The NJIT Highlanders are allowing 32.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 31.8 rebounds per game.

The Wildcats are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win. The Highlanders are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The under is 5-1 in Wildcats last 6 road games. The over is 5-1 in Highlanders last 6 overall.

Randy’s Free Pick

The New Hampshire Wildcats have been the better team this season, but they’re a road underdog here for a reason. New Hampshire has had no success on the road this season. The NJIT Highlanders play their best ball at home, where they win by an average of 2 points, and they need a win to stop the bleeding. Oddsmakers know something we don’t. Give me NJIT.

The Albany Great Danes and the New Hampshire Wildcats meet in college basketball action from the Lundholm Gymnasium on Wednesday night. Let’s dive into the odds, injuries, matchup history and make a prediction for this game.

Odds

New Hampshire is listed as a 5.5-point home favorite with a ML price of -250. The total for this game is set at 130.5 points.

Injuries

Neither team has had anyone new pop up on the injury report, so barring any last-minute announcements, both sides will come into this game at full strength.

Matchup History

New Hampshire’s 67-51 back on December 31st, 2022, made it 5 straight games where these two teams have traded victories.

Trends

Albany is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS loss and 1-3-2 ATS in their last 6 Wednesday games while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a double-digit home loss. New Hampshire is 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 Wednesday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games against a team with a road winning percentage below .400 while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 home games.

Pick

I’m leaning towards Albany and the points here. I get why UNH is favored at home, but the issue I have is that neither team is blowing anyone away right now and New Hampshire isn’t some world-beater in the America East. Both teams are being outscored by around three points per game in their last five, so even with home court, I have to side with Albany and the points here.

The Vermont Catamounts and New Hampshire Wildcats meet Sunday in college basketball action at the Lundholm Gymnasium. The Vermont Catamounts look to get above a .500 record. The New Hampshire Wildcats look for their seventh win.

The Vermont Catamounts are averaging 68.7 points on 44.8 percent shooting and allowing 68.7 points on 45.4 percent shooting. Aaron Deloney is averaging 12.3 points and 2.6 rebounds, while Dylan Penn is averaging 12.1 points and 1.5 assists. Finn Sullivan is dishing 2.5 assists and Kameron Gibson is grabbing 1.5 rebounds. The Vermont Catamounts are shooting 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 69.3 percent from the free throw line. The Vermont Catamounts are allowing 33.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 29.3 rebounds per game.

The New Hampshire Wildcats are averaging 65.9 points on 39.6 percent shooting and allowing 64.3 points on 40.6 percent shooting. Clarence O. Daniels II is averaging 15.4 points and 10.7 rebounds, while Nick Johnson is averaging 12.8 points and 3.9 rebounds. Kyree Brown is the third double-digit scorer and Matt Herasme is dishing 1.5 assists. The New Hampshire Wildcats are shooting 35 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free throw line. The New Hampshire Wildcats are allowing 30.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 34.9 rebounds per game.

The Catamounts are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Wildcats are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games. The under is 5-2 in Catamounts last 7 overall. The under is 8-2 in Wildcats last 10 overall. The home team is 5-1-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

The Vermont Catamounts are the better team on paper, but let’s not act like they’re as good as they’ve been in years past. The New Hampshire Wildcats are also playing their best ball of the season right now, which includes winning their last 5 games by an average of 8.6 points. New Hampshire plays enough defense to hang around at home. I’ll take the points.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Binghamton Bearcats meet in college basketball action from the Binghamton Events Center on Thursday night.

The New Hampshire Wildcats will look to build on a 67-51 win over Albany last time out. Clarence O. Daniels II leads New Hampshire in scoring and rebounding, averaging a double-double per game with 16.1 PPG and 10.9 RPG while Nick Johnson has 13 PPG with 4.1 RPG in eight games this season. Kyree Brown has 10.4 PPG with a team-high 3.9 APG to lead the Wildcats in the assist department as well as rounding out the trio of double-digit scorers for Now Hampshire this season. As a team, New Hampshire is averaging 67.1 PPG on 39.5% shooting from the field, 36% from three and 73% from the foul line this season.

The Binghamton Bearcats will try to snap a three-game losing skid after an 82-78 loss to Bryant last time out. Jacob Falko leads the Bearcats in scoring and assists with 14.9 PPG and 3.6 APG along with 3.9 RPG while Armon Harried has 11.5 PPG and 6.9 RPG In eight games and Miles Gibson has 10.1 PPG with 5.1 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Binghamton up to this point in the season. As a team, Binghamton is averaging 70.1 PPG on 44.4% shooting from the field, 28.7% from three and 69.9% from the foul line this season.

New Hampshire is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a win while the under is 7-2 in their last 9 games overall. Binghamton is 3-8 ATs in their last 11 games overall and 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall.

I get the case to be made either way in this game, but I’m backing the under here. I honestly don’t know if either side will make it to 60 points in this game and I just think this is going to be a slow-paced slop fest for a full 40 minutes. Not one I’m rushing to bet but give me the under here.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Brown Bears meet Wednesday in college basketball action from Pizzitola Sports Center. New Hampshire is 5-6 on the year so far. The Wildcats beat Holy Cross in their last game. As for Brown, they’re 6-5 and coming off a loss to Michigan State. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

New Hampshire won their first two games this year, then hit a five-game losing streak. The Wildcats would rebound with a win over Boston College and a loss to St. John’s. New Hampshire as beaten Saint Joseph and Holy Cross in the pair since.

In Monday’s matchup versus Holy Cross, New Hampshire jumped out to a 39-29 lead by halftime. The Wildcats hit a 39-31 run in the second half and cruised to the 78-60 win. Clarence O. Daniels posted 30 points with eight rebounds in the victory.

Over on the Brown side, they lost four of their first five games, then hit a win streak versus Maine, Central Connecticut State, Bryant, Hartford and Rhode Island. The Bears lost to Michigan State in their last game.

Back on December 10 versus Michigan State, the Bears were drilled 32-18 in the first half. Brown didn’t end up getting closer and lost 68-50. Paxson Wojcik managed a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

PICK: I’ll probably stay with Brown. Also probably not touching it, though. The Bears need to rebound from a sketchy showing versus Michigan State, however. Brown shot just 33.3 percent from the field and 4-of-20 (20 percent) from 3-point range in that one and got out-rebounded 43-36 (12-11 offensive). That said, New Hampshire should be a more comparable matchup for the Bears and I think Brown will get back to form. Speaking of New Hampshire, they’ve scored 74 or more points in three of their last four games and could give Brown some trouble if they’re on point.

The Holy Cross Crusaders and the New Hampshire Wildcats meet Monday in college basketball action from Lundholm Gym. Holy Cross is 3-8 overall this year. The Crusaders lost to Northeastern in their last game. As for New Hampshire, they’re currently 4-6 after a win over Saint Joseph last week. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Holy Cross has managed to beat Dean, Colby-Sawyer and Central CT State this year. Otherwise the losses have come to Siena, Creighton, Stonehill, Fordham, UIC, Harvard, Quinnipiac and Northeastern.

In the Matchup versus Northeastern on December 10, the Crusaders were up 31-26 by halftime. Holy Cross was outscored 33-27 from there and lost 59-58. Gerrale Gates put up 19 points and eight boards to lead the team.

Over on the New Hampshire side, they’ve beaten Brandeis, Fairfield, Boston College and Saint Joseph this year. The Wildcats’ losses have been to Fordham, Boston U, George Washington, Sacred Heart, Columbia and St. John’s.

In the game versus Saint Joseph, the Wildcats were up 45-37 by halftime. New Hampshire kept it up in the second with 59 more points in a 104-61 win. Matthew Herasme put up 17 points with five rebounds to lead the way.

PICK: I’m going to stay with New Hampshire. Granted, there’s not a ton of intrigue here but the Wildcats should have control. New Hampshire is just 2-3 in their last five games. The Wildcats lost two of those by five points or fewer, though. New Hampshire should match up pretty well against Holy Cross, who has scored 63 or fewer points in three of their last four games. If the Crusaders are playing well they’ll make this one interesting but I don’t think they’ll cover.

The St. John’s Red Storm are allowing 30.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 39.4 rebounds per game.

The Wildcats are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Red Storm are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games. The under is 4-1 in Wildcats last 5 overall.

The New Hampshire Wildcats have been a mess offensively up to this point, and now they’re on the road, where they lose by an average of 10 points and shoot 33.3 percent from the field. The St. John’s Red Storm have shown terrific balance through 10 games, and they’re winning by an average of 16 points in the favorite role. St. John’s should roll before heading into a week off and then a date with FSU.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and Boston College Eagles meet Tuesday in college basketball action at the Silvio O. Conte Forum. The New Hampshire Wildcats look for their third win. The Boston College Eagles look for their sixth win.

The New Hampshire Wildcats are averaging 63.9 points on 36.9 percent shooting and allowing 65.4 points on 42 percent shooting. Clarence O. Daniels II is averaging 14.3 points and 11.4 rebounds, while Kyree Brown is averaging 12.4 points and 2.3 rebounds. Nazim Derry is dishing 2 assists and Matt Herasme is grabbing 5.9 rebounds. The New Hampshire Wildcats are allowing 29.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.4 rebounds per game.

The Boston College Eagles are averaging 64 points on 42 percent shooting and allowing 66.4 points on 44.7 percent shooting. Makai Ashton-Langford is averaging 11 points and 3 rebounds, while Jaeden Zackery is averaging 11 points and 3 rebounds. CJ Penha Jr. is the third double-digit scorer and Devin McGlockton is grabbing 5.3 rebounds. The Boston College Eagles are shooting 28.8 percent from beyond the arc and 67.5 percent from the free throw line. The Boston College Eagles are allowing 35.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 31.8 rebounds per game.

The Wildcats are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Tuesday games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Eagles are 9-20 ATS in their last 29 games following a ATS win and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games. The under is 4-0 in Wildcats last 4 overall. The under is 6-2 in Eagles last 8 overall.

The only reason to shy away from the Boston College Eagles here is because it’s a trap game, after just playing Duke and having Villanova on deck. With that said, the New Hampshire Wildcats are one of the worst offensive teams in the league, which includes shooting 31.7 percent from the field in their last 5 games. If BC can’t roll here at home, something is wrong.

The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Fordham Rams meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Rose Hill Gym. New Hampshire is 2-0 so far this season following a game two win over Fairfield. New Hampshire had a manageable opponent in their opener game versus Brandeis. The Wildcats were up 39-25 at halftime and kept it up in a 79-47 blowout win. Clarence O. Daniels (18 points; 10 boards) and Matthew Herasme (11 points; 12 rebounds) both doubled up.

In game two against Fairfield, the Wildcats kept it going with another win. New Hampshire was up 43-35 at the break and rolled on from there to an 83-71 result. Kyree Brown topped the team on 25 points and Nazim Derry added 17 more.

Over on the Fordham side, they kicked off their season versus Dartmouth. The Rams scored 43 points in the first half and 45 more from there in an 88-74 win. Darius Quisenberry led the way on 20 options and four rebounds for Fordham.

Fordham’s second game was a very tough matchup versus a great Arkansas team. The Rams limped to 21 points in the first half and were blown out 74-48. Quisenberry and Elijah Gray were the only team players in double-figures, each with 10 points.

PICK: I’m going to try New Hampshire here. All things considered however, this should be a pretty competitive game and a good matchup on paper. The Wildcats have scored pretty well in their first two games so far, averaging 81 points total with at least 39 points in all four halves so far. As for Fordham, they put up 88 points in the win over Dartmouth in their opener. We can pretty much toss out the Arkansas game as a lost cause, though. Overall I like this one to be a high-scoring, competitive affair.

The Fairfield Stags and the New Hampshire Wildcats meet Friday in college basketball action from Lundholm Gym. Fairfield is coming off a 12-point loss to Wake Forest in their opener. As for New Hampshire, they played Brandeis this week and managed a blowout win. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Fairfield had a forgettable campaign in 2021-22, going 15-18 overall. The Stags finished 8-12 in Metro Atlantic Athletic games, putting the team on the lower side of the standings. Fairfield would ultimately fall to Saint Peter’s in the conference tournament.

In their first action of the season Monday versus Wake Forest, the Stags were outscored 32-25 in the first half. Fairfield didn’t get much better from there in a 71-59 loss. Caleb Fields led the team on 14 points and four rebounds.

Over on the New Hampshire side, they were barely over .500 last year at 15-13 overall and 10-8 in America East Conference play. The Wildcats finished in fourth place in the standings, behind Vermont, UMBC and Stony Brook.

The Wildcats opened up their year on Monday versus Brandeis and didn’t have too much trouble. New Hampshire finished strong with 40 second-half points in a 79-47 win. Clarence Daniels managed a double-double (18 points; 10 boards) as did Matthew Herasme (11 points; 12 rebounds).

PICK: I’ll probably stay with New Hampshire here. Not going near it, though. The Wildcats weren’t exactly up against elite competition in their opener, but they got the job done with a pretty well-rounded effort from much of the roster. As for Fairfield, they were outmatched by a Wake Forest team that shot a tepid 39.1 percent from the field in their opener. This should be a more comparable matchup on both sides.
