Jamal Murray led the team with 25 points and five assists, Nikola Jokic tallied 20 points with 11 assists on nine of 13 shooting while Russell Westbrook and Aaron Gordon scored 13 points each. As a team, the Nuggets shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 32 from the 3-point line as they didn’t match the intensity of the Timberwolves from the start and were always fighting a losing battle after allowing 40 points in the first quarter.

Chicago Bulls

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in terrible form as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting routed by the 76ers in a 109-97 defeat on Saturday. Zach LaVine led the team with 25 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, Nikola Vucevic added 22 points with 12 rebounds and four assists while Josh Giddey chipped in with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. It just feels like the Nuggets have found another gear lately, and they’re not a team I’m excited to step in front of. Again, the line will change depending on the status of Edwards. I’ll still lean Nuggets based on their current form.
