In this article, we will formulate an Ole Miss vs Mississippi State Prediction for this college basketball game on Saturday,  February 15th, at the The Pavillion. Let’s take a look at an Ole Miss Rebels vs Mississippi State Bulldogs pick.

When these two teams faced off in January it was Mississippi State that secured the 84-81 victory in overtime.

Mississippi State Can’t Get Over the Hump

Mississippi State has had issues getting over the hump, and just when you start to trust them, they fall flat again. Two games ago against Georgia, Mississippi State was able to secure the 76-75 victory. In the last game though, they were at home against the Florida Gators, and they ended up losing 81-68. At halftime, they were up by a point, but in the second half, they gave up 48 points, and that led to the defeat. The Bulldogs shot 41.4 percent from the field but only 25.9 percent from behind the three point line.

Mississippi State comes into this game with a 17-7 record overall and they have gone 10-14 against the spread. Away from home they have gone 5-2 straight up. Mississippi State is averaging 79.3 points while their defense is giving up 71.8 points per game. The offense is ranked 84th in the league while the defense is ranked 80th. Josh Hubbard has been the top player for Mississippi State and he’s averaging 17.6 points while shooting 40 percent from the field.

Why Mississippi State Will Beat Ole Miss

  • Ole Miss has lost 15 of its last 16 day games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • Mississippi State has won each of its last six day games against Ole Miss.
  • Mississippi State has won the first half in four of its last five day games.

Ole Miss is Heating Up

Ole Miss is heating up and they have won three games in a row over the Kentucky Wildcats, Auburn Tigers, and South Carolina Gamecocks. Against South Carolina in the last game they went on the road and were able to secure the 72-68 victory. At halftime they were up 42-30 and even though they didn’t play as well in the second half they were still able to hold to the win. Ole Miss shot 45.5 percent from the field and 61.5 percent from behind the three-point line. Forward Malik Dia had a strong game putting up 18 points and three rebounds.

Ole Miss comes into this game with a 19-6 record overall and they have gone 14-10-1 against the spread. At home this season they have gone 11-2 straight up. Ole Miss is averaging 78.1 points while their defense is giving up 68.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 84th in the league while the defense is ranked 80th. Sean Pedulla has been the star of the show, averaging 14.6 points while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 39.9 percent from behind the three-point line.

Ole Miss vs Mississippi State Prediction

Give me Mississippi State here. Mississippi State already ahs a won over Ole Miss this year, and they are going to have no issue running up the score here. Yes they struggled in the last game against Florida, but I don’t trust this Ole Miss offense to be as consistent. Look for another big game from Josh Hubbard and it’s going to be Mississippi State is going to end up covering the spread here.

In this article, we will formulate a South Carolina vs Ole Miss Prediction for this college basketball game on Wednesday, February 12th, at the Colonial Life Arena. Let’s take a look at the South Carolina Gamecocks vs Ole Miss Rebels Pick.

Can Ole Miss Win a Third Straight Game?

Ole Miss suddenly has all kinds of confidence, and they have won two straight games. Two games ago against Kentucky, Ole Miss scored 98 points on the way to the victory. In the last game against LSU, they went on the road and were able to secure a 72-70 victory. At halftime, they were down, but in the second half, they scored 39 points, and that was enough to pick up the victory. Guard Dre Davis had a strong game, putting up 22 points and seven rebounds. There were four different players that put up at least 10 points.

Ole Miss sits with an 18-6 record overall, and they have gone 14-10 against the spread. Ole Miss is averaging 78.3 points while their defense is giving up 68.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 86th in the league and they have gone 14-10 against the spread. Away from home, they have gone 4-3 straight up. Sean Pedulla is averaging 15 points while shooting 44.8 percent from the field.  After this game, Ole Miss will meet Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Auburn, and Oklahoma

Why Ole Miss Will Beat South Carolina

  • South Carolina has lost each of its last 11 games against Conference opponents.
  • Ole Miss has won 16 of its last 17 games against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • Ole Miss has won the first half in seven of its last nine games against South Carolina.

Big Test for South Carolina

South Carolina has struggled heading into this game but this is a big test for them. South Carolina has lost 10 games in a row, and a lot of them haven’t been all that close. In the last game against Kentucky, South Carolina scored 57 points, but the defense gave up 80 points, leading to the blowout. South Carolina shot only 32.8 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from behind the three-point line. Collin Murray-Boyles was the top player for South Carolina putting up 14 points, eight rebounds, and one assist.

Overall, the Gamecocks have a 10-13 record, and they have gone 10-12 against the spread. South Carolina is averaging 69.9 points, while their defense is giving up 69.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 289th in the league, while the defense is ranked 115th. The defense overall for this team hasn’t been awful, but the lack of playing any sort of defense has been a major problem.

South Carolina vs Ole Miss Prediction

I am not even concerned that Ole Miss is playing on the road; they are going to have no issue getting the job done in this game. This South Carolina offense just isn’t that good, and overall, they are averaging only 69.9 points per game. Compare that to Ole Miss, who averages 78.3 points per game. South Carolina is going to have no answer with the defense, and Ole Miss is going to cruise here. Back Ole Miss against the spread.

In this article we will formulate a LSU vs Ole Miss prediction for this College Basketball game on Saturday, February 8th at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this College Basketball matchup.

LSU Tigers Betting Preview

The LSU Tigers are 12-10 (1-8) this year after they lost to Georgia by a score of 81-62 in their last game. LSU trailed 37-31 at halftime and allowed 44 points in the second half in the loss. The Tigers shot 36.2% from the field, 36.4% on three pointers, and 61.5% on free throws in the game. Jordan Sears led LSU with 11 points and two assists, while Daimion Collins added 10 points and six rebounds in the loss.

Prior to that game, the Tigers lost to Texas by a score of 89-58 and Auburn by a score of 87-74. LSU has lost five games in a row and they are currently second to last in the SEC standings with a 1-8 record. LSU has scored 77.3 points per game and they have allowed 72.3 points against per game, while also averaging 37.7 rebounds and 13.3 assists per game this season. Cam Carter is averaging 17.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, while Jordan Sears is averaging 13.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game this year. LSU is shooting 45.7% from the field, 75.6% on free throws, and 30.9% on three pointers this season.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels are 17-6 (6-4) this season after they defeated Kentucky by a score of 98-84 in their last game. Ole Miss led 54-31 at halftime, but they did allow 53 points in the second half in the loss. The Rebels shot 54.7% from the field, 43.3% on three pointers, and 71.4% on free throws in the game. Matthew Murrell led Ole Miss with 24 points and five rebounds, while Dre Davis added 17 points and three rebounds in the win.

Prior to that victory, the Rebels lost to Auburn by a score of 92-82, but did beat Texas by a score of 72-69 before that. Ole Miss has lost four of their last six games and they are currently tied for sixth in the SEC standings with a 6-4 record. Ole Miss has scored 78.6 points per game and they have allowed 68.4 points against per game, while also averaging 33.8 rebounds and 15.7 assists per game this season. Sean Pedulla is averaging 14.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, while Matthew Murrell is averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this year. Ole Miss is shooting 45% from the field, 72.8% on free throws, and 35.3% on three pointers this season.

Why LSU will beat Ole Miss

  • LSU has won eight of its last nine games at Pete Maravich Assembly Center when playing with a rest disadvantage.
  • Ole Miss has lost each of its last four games at Pete Maravich Assembly Center against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • Ole Miss has lost the first half in four of its last five road games.

Why Ole Miss will beat LSU

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last nine night games against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • LSU has lost nine of its last 10 games against the Southeastern Conference.
  • LSU has lost the first half in eight of its last nine games against the Southeastern Conference at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Total Points Facts

  • Each of LSU’s last nine home games have produced a total of 147+ points.
  • Eight of Ole Miss’ last nine games against non-AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 142 or fewer points.

Matchup/League Facts

  • LSU ranks 17th among Division 1 teams for blocks per game this season (5.2).
  • LSU ranks 49th among Division 1 teams for opponent field goal percentage this season (40.8%).
  • Ole Miss ranks T1st among Division 1 teams for turnovers per game this season (8.9).
  • Ole Miss ranks 2nd among Division 1 teams for turnover percentage this season (11.3%).

LSU vs Ole Miss Prediction

LSU comes into this matchup with just a 1-8 record in conference play, but they will be at home for this game. The Tigers have had major issues on defense in recent weeks, as they have allowed 80+ points in four straight games. Ole Miss has won two of their last three games and they are scoring nearly 79 points per game, but they are 0-2 in their last two road games. The Rebels have allowed 82+ points in three of their last four games, so neither defense is playing very well right now. Ole Miss should get the win on the road, but I think we are going to see plenty of points in this game, so take the over here.

The Kentucky Wildcats and the Ole Miss Rebels meet Tuesday in college basketball action from the Pavilion. Here’s an Ole Miss vs Kentucky prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Ole Miss vs Kentucky pick.

Kentucky Wildcats Betting Preview

The Wildcats have been rolling along at a nice clip for most of the year. That said, Kentucky has run into some losses over their last handful of outings. During a 7-0 opening run, the Wildcats took out Wright State, Bucknell, Duke, Lipscomb, Jackson State, Western Kentucky, and Georgia State in succession. Kentucky lost to Clemson, then hit a 5-1 stretch that included wins over Gonzaga, Colgate, Louisville, Brown, and Florida among a loss to Ohio State. Since then Kentucky has been on a 3-4 run. The Wildcats have losses to Georgia, Alabama, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas in that time, winning otherwise over Mississippi State, Texas A&M, and Tennessee. The result so far has been a 15-6 overall run through their first 21 games this year.

In the Arkansas game on Saturday, the Wildcats entered the second half in a 46-45 deficit. Kentucky didn’t end up getting any closer than that, posting a 43-34 run for an 89-79 loss in the end. Leading the team in the losing effort was Amari Williams, who notched a double-double on 22 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal. Jaxson Robinson added 20 points with three rebounds and two assists, while Ansley Almonor put up 12 points with three boards and two assists. Otega Oweh chipped in 10 points with two rebounds as well.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

Over on the Rebels’ side, their year similarly started quite well through the middle part of January. Ole Miss has taken some lumps lately during a run of difficult matchups, though. In an 11-1 start, the Rebels lost to only Purdue, otherwise taking out Long Island U, Grambling, South Alabama, Colorado State, Oral Roberts, BYU, Louisville, Lindenwood, Southern Miss, Southern, and Queens U in that time. Following a loss to Memphis, the Rebels beat Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and Alabama in their next four. Since then Ole Miss is just 1-4 with a lone win over Texas. Otherwise, it’s been losses to Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Missouri, and Auburn for a 16-6 record so far through the first 22 games of the 2024-25 season.

Matched up against Auburn in their Saturday game, the Rebels went into the locker room trailing 41-34. Ole Miss didn’t end up getting any closer than that on a 51-48 second half and took the loss at home 92-82. Leading the team in the defeat was Sean Pedulla with 29 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Matthew Murrell added 17 points with four rebounds, while Jaemyn Brakefield had 12 points with five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Malik Dia chipped in nine points with four rebounds and three assists as well.

Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won 10 of its last 11 night games.
  • Kentucky has lost three of its last four games.
  • Kentucky has lost the first half in each of its last four games against the Southeastern Conference.

Why the Kentucky Wildcats will win

  • Ole Miss has lost 20 of its last 21 games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • Kentucky has won nine of its last 10 games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • Ole Miss has lost the first half in five of its last six games against the Southeastern Conference.

Total Points Facts

  • Eighteen of Ole Miss’ last 19 night games against AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 155 or fewer points.
  • Each of Kentucky’s last three night games at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss have produced a total of 156 or fewer points.

Ole Miss vs Kentucky Prediction

I’m going to take a stab at Ole Miss here. The Rebels are coming off a tough matchup versus a very good Auburn team, but they didn’t play too badly in the defeat—outside of the 41-30 rebounding deficit and 48.4 percent shooting allowed, that is. Ole Miss shot 46.4 percent from the field themselves and scored 17 points off 12 Tigers turnovers. The 24-of-35 (68.6 percent) from the line and 22-11 disparity in assists didn’t help either. Ole Miss has now lost four of their last five games, with all four of those losses coming to ranked teams. For the most part, however, the Rebels are still scoring pretty well in defeat.

As for Kentucky, they’ve lost three of their last four with the most two recent defeats coming against unranked (but talented) squads. The Wildcats are also scoring quite well themselves, so this one should be another fairly high total. In the end, I like Ole Miss to power out the eventual cover at home, but you could probably make a case either way.

The Auburn Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels meet Saturday in college basketball action from the Pavilion. Here’s an Ole Miss vs Auburn prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Ole Miss vs Auburn pick.

Auburn Tigers Betting Preview

It’s been a great run for the Tigers so far this season. They’ve got just one blemish on the card so far, and that came way back in early December. Auburn opened up the year with wins over Vermont, Houston, Kent State, North Alabama, Iowa State, North Carolina and Memphis, then took their first (and only, so far) loss to Duke on December 4 by a score of 84-78. Since then it’s been another lengthy string of wins for the Tigers. Those victories have come courtesy of Richmond, Ohio State, Georgia State, Purdue, Monmouth, Missouri, Texas, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Georgia, Tennessee and LSU in succession. The result so far has been an excellent 19-1 mark in the record column thus far through 20 gams for the Tigers.

In their Wednesday matchup with LSU, the Tigers came out of the locker room with a dominant 41-29 edge. Auburn kept it up in the second on a 46-45 run and took the eventual victory 87-74 in the end. Tops in scoring on the team was Johni Broome with 26 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks. Miles Kelly added 13 points with three rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes. Leading the team off the bench was Tahaad Pettiford with 10 points, three boards and two assists in 23 minutes of work on the court.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

Over on the Ole Miss side, they maintained form for most of the year so far, and were looking good in mid-January. The Rebels have since fallen off and collected a few more losses, however. Ole Miss went 11-1 over their first 12 games. The lone defeat in that time was versus Purdue. Otherwise it was wins over Long Island University, Grambling, South Alabama, Colorado State, Oral Roberts, BYU, Louisville, Southern Miss, Southern and Queens University. After another loss to Memphis on December 28, the Tigers got back to business with wins over Georgia, Arkansas, LSU and Alabama. Since then it’s been a 1-3 run with losses to Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Missouri. Ole Miss stopped the bleeding with a win over Texas in their last outing though, giving the Rebels a 16-5 overall run through the first 21 games this year.

Matched up against Texas on Wednesday, the Rebels came out of the break with a 38-34 deficit. Ole Miss came back in the second half though, posting a 38-31 run for a 72-69 victory in the end. Leading the charge for the Rebels was Sean Pedulla with 19 points, four rebounds and five assists. Dre Davis added 17 points with seven boards and two blocks. Jaemyn Brakefield put up 18 points with five rebounds and three assists with one steal and one block in 31 minutes of work off the bench as well.

Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won four of its last five day games against Auburn.
  • Auburn has lost the first half in three of its last four road day games against the Southeastern Conference.

Why the Auburn Tigers will win

  • Auburn has won each of its last 13 games against Conference opponents.
  • Ole Miss has lost each of its last eight home games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • Ole Miss has lost the first half in six of its last seven day games against AP-ranked opponents.

Total Points Facts

  • Thirteen of Ole Miss’ last 14 day games against Conference opponents at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss have produced a total of 146 or fewer points.
  • Eleven of Auburn’s last 12 road day games against the Southeastern Conference have produced a total of 147 or fewer points.

Ole Miss vs Auburn Prediction

I’m just going to stay with Auburn here. You could call this one either way, though. It’ll be a fun game. Auburn was firmly in control of their last road win over LSU, outmuscling the opposition 47-34 on the boards and collecting 22 points off 20 LSU turnovers. Auburn didn’t shoot very well themselves though, hitting just 40 percent from the field.

As for Ole Miss, they didn’t play particularly well in their latest win over a pretty good Texas team. The Rebels shot just 39.7 percent from the field and got out-rebounded 42-33 in a three-point victory. The 13 points off 11 Longhorns turnovers really made the difference in that one, however Ole Miss isn’t going to be able to rely on mistakes this time with Auburn.

In this article, we will formulate an Ole Miss vs. Texas Prediction for this college basketball game on Wednesday, January 29th, at the Pavillion. Let’s take a look at an Ole Miss Rebels vs Texas Longhorns pick.

What a Comeback for Texas

Texas in the last game faced off against the Texas A&M Aggies and they were able to pick up the big victory. At halftime, they were down 43-25 and they looked to be out of it. In the second half though they made the big comeback though and they ended up winning 70-69. Guard Tre Johnson put up 30 points, four assists, and one rebound. There were three different players that put up at least nine points.

Texas comes into this game with a 14-6 record overall and they have gone 11-8-1 against the spread. Texas is averaging 78.9 points while their defense is giving up 66.3 points per game. The offense is ranked 78th in the league while the defense is ranked 51st in the league. Tre Johnson has been the top player averaging 18.8 points while shooting 45 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from behind the three-point line. Texas will face LSU following this one

Why Texas Will Beat Ole Miss

  • Ole Miss has lost each of its last three games against the Southeastern Conference.
  • Texas has won three of its last four games.

Ole Miss Has Lost Three Straight Games

Ole Miss is suddenly struggling all of a sudden and they have lost three straight games. Two games ago against Texas A&M they were competitive but still ended up losing 63-62. In the last game against Missouri, they couldn’t keep it close and they ended up losing 85-73. At halftime, they were down 38-31 and they couldn’t fight back. In this game, they can’t get out to a slow start again.

Ole Miss comes into this game with a 15-5 record overall and they have gone 13-7 against the spread. Ole Miss is averaging 77.8 points while their defense is giving up 66.4 points per game. Sean Pedulla has been the top player putting up 14.3 points per game while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from behind the three-point line. There were five different players that put up at least 10 points. In this game, the defense is going to need to be a whole lot better. Ole Miss will take on Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, South Carolina, and Mississippi State after this game.

Ole Miss vs Texas Prediction

Give me Texas here, although I don’t think they are going to win this game. Texas is a strong offensive team overall this season averaging 78.9 points per game and they are going to have no issue running up the score here. Ole Miss probably has the offense to win this game, but this is too many points for them to lay. It’s going to come down to the final seconds. Back Texas against the spread.

Texas A&M Recap

The Texas A&M Aggies come into this game looking to build on a 63-62 win over Ole Miss last time out to improve to 15-4 on the year. After this game, Texas A&M will head home to take on Oklahoma.

As a team, Texas A&M is averaging 75.7 PPG on 42.6% shooting from the field, 30.3% from three and 67.9% from the foul line this season.

Why the Texas A&M Aggies will win

Texas Recap

The Texas Longhorns come into this game looking to build on a 61-53 win over Missouri last time out to improve to 13-6 on the year. After this game, Texas will head on the road to take on Ole Miss.

Longhorns Looking For Consistency

Tre Johnson leads the Longhorns in scoring with 18.2 PPG along with 2.8 RPG and 2 APG while Arthur Kaluma has 13.8 PPG with a team-high 8.2 RPG to lead the Longhorns in rebounding and Jordan Pope has 12.4 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Texas so far this season. Tramon Mark has 9.1 PPG with 3.5 RPG and Kadin Shedrick has 7.9 PPG with 5.9 RPG as well this year. Julian Larry is also contributing 5.5 PPG with a team-high 3.8 APG to lead the Longhorns in the assist department up to this point in the year. As a team, Texas is averaging 79.4 PPG on 48.3% shooting from the field, 37.3% from three and 74.8% from the foul line this season.

Why the Texas Longhorns will win

  • Texas has won 10 of its last 11 games when playing with a rest advantage.

Total Points Facts

  • Eight of Texas’ last nine day games against AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 143+ points.
  • Seven of Texas A&M’s last eight day games against the Southeastern Conference have produced a total of 142+ points.

Texas A&M vs Texas Prediction

I’m on Texas A&M in this one. I can understand the allure of taking points with Texas in the home underdog role, but the thing is that I don’t think a letdown is in store here for the Aggies as I think Texas A&M is just the far more talented lineup in this spot. I’m not really all that high on the Longhorns this season, as this is an inexperienced team for the most part that has had a hard time stringing positive results together against top-tier teams. The Aggies are coming off of that big win over Ole Miss and I think they keep the momentum going with a win and cover on the road here.

In this article, we will formulate a Missouri vs Ole Miss Prediction for this college basketball game on Saturday, January 25th, at the Mizzou Arena. Let’s take a look at a Missouri Tigers vs Ole Miss Rebels Pick.

Ole Miss Has Lost Two Straight Games

Ole Miss has lost two straight games and they are suddenly struggling heading into this game. Two games ago against Mississippi State they ended up losing 84-81 and in the last game against Texas A&M they ended up losing 63-62. Sean Pedulla was the top player putting up 16 points, three rebounds, and one assist. There were four different players that put up at least 10 points. At halftime they were up 33-26 but in the second half they didn’t play as well.

Ole Miss comes into this game with a 15-4 record overall and they have gone 13-6 against the spread. Ole Miss is averaging 77.9 poins while their defense is giving up 65.5 points per game. Ole Miss is averaging 77.9 points per game while their defense is giving up 65.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 97th in the league while the defense is ranked 37th in the league. They are averaging 15.84 assists per game which is 74th in the league. Sean Pedulla is averaging 14.3 points while shooting 43.3 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from behind the three point line.

Missouri Looks to Bounce Back

Missouri has played well this season but they looked awful in the last game. Missouri faced off against Texas in the last game and they scored 53 points, while the defense 61 points, and that led to the defeat. Missouri shot only 31.3 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from behind the three point line. Two games ago against Arkansas it was a different story and they ended up winning 83-65.

The Texas A&M Aggies and the Ole Miss Rebels meet Wednesday in college basketball action from the Pavilion. Here’s an Ole Miss vs Texas A&M prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Ole Miss vs Texas A&M pick.

Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview

Overall the Aggies have been quite consistent so far this year. They’ve only experienced consecutive losses once so far. Texas A&M got off to a middling start over their first six games however, losing to UCF and Oregon among wins versus East Texas A&M, Lamar, Ohio State, and Southern otherwise. A lengthy winning streak ensued after that, featuring victories over Creighton, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Texas Tech, Purdue, Houston Christian, Abilene Christian, Texas, and Oklahoma in succession. The Aggies would then lose to Alabama and Kentucky in a pair of tough matchups before getting back into the win column versus LSU over the weekend. The result was a 14-4 overall record through the first 18 games of the year for the Aggies.

Matched up against LSU on Saturday, the Aggies came out of halftime sporting a 30-30 tie on the scoreboard. Texas A&M posted a 38-27 run the rest of the way however, eventually pulling off the win 68-57. Tops in scoring was Zhuric Phelps with 13 points, six boards, and six assists. Wade Taylor added 12 points with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals, while Henry Coleman also finished in double-figures with 10 points and two rebounds in the win.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

Over on the Ole Miss side, they’ve been a highly consistent team themselves so far this year. The Rebels have yet to lose consecutive games, though they are coming off a rough overtime loss in their latest outing. Ole Miss kicked off the year with a nice 11-1 overall run in their first dozen outings. The lone loss was versus Purdue; otherwise, it was wins over LIU, Grambling, South Alabama, Colorado State, Oral Roberts, BYU, Louisville, Lindenwood, Southern Miss, Southern, and Queens University in that stretch. Following another loss to Memphis on December 28, the Rebels beat Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and Alabama in succession before falling to Mississippi State over the weekend. The Rebels currently sit at 15-3 overall through their first 18 games thus far.

In the Mississippi State game on Saturday, Ole Miss took a 37-29 deficit into the second half. The Rebels fought back valiantly on a 45-37 run in order to force overtime, but eventually lost in the extra period 84-81. Sean Pedulla was the high man among the starters with 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Jaemyn Brakefield added 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists off the bench, while Matthew Murrell chipped in 15 points.

Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last nine night games.
  • Ole Miss has won the first half in five of its last six night games at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss.

Why the Texas A&M Aggies will win

  • Ole Miss has lost 17 of its last 18 games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • Texas A&M has won 10 of its last 12 games.
  • Ole Miss has lost the first half in six of its last seven games against AP-ranked opponents.

Ole Miss vs Texas A&M Prediction

I’ll probably stay with Ole Miss. This should be a pretty great matchup though, and one of the highlights of the Wednesday college basketball schedule. The Rebels couldn’t quite topple Mississippi State in their last game, thanks mostly to an ugly 51-29 deficit (19-8 offensive) on the boards. Otherwise, Ole Miss didn’t play too badly, notching 45.5 percent shooting with 14 team assists. The rebounding disparity sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb, however. That said, the Rebels have scored 70 or more points in 14 of their last 15 games and should notch a high enough total to keep that run going here.

As for Texas A&M, they looked pretty good against a decent LSU team in their last outing, shooting 42.6 percent from the field alongside a 38-33 rebounding advantage. The Aggies have been below 70 points in consecutive games though, which is a bit of an anomaly for them this year. In any case, I like Ole Miss to power one out in a very entertaining matchup. Should be a fun game to check out.

In this article, we will formulate an Alabama vs Ole Miss prediction for this College Basketball game on Tuesday, January 14th at the Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this College Basketball matchup.

Alabama Crimson Tide Betting Preview

The Alabama Crimson Tide are 14-2 (3-0) this year after they defeated Texas A&M by a score of 94-88 in their last game. Alabama led 52-44 at halftime and they were able to get the win, despite being outscored in the second half. The Crimson Tide shot 39.7% from the field, 35.1% on three-pointers, and 67.5% on free throws in the game. Mark Sears led Alabama with 27 points and four assists, while Aden Holloway added 15 points and one assist in the game.

Prior to that win, the Crimson Tide defeated South Carolina by a score of 88-68 and Oklahoma by a score of 107-79. Alabama has won eight games in a row and they are one of three undefeated teams in SEC play. Alabama has scored 91.1 points per game and they have allowed 77.4 points per game, while also averaging 45.4 rebounds and 17.5 assists per game this season. Mark Sears is averaging 19.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, while Grant Nelson is averaging 12.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game this year. Alabama is shooting 47.3% from the field, 69.5% on free throws, and 32.3% on three-pointers this season.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels are 14-2 (3-0) this season after they defeated LSU by a score of 77-65 in their last game. Ole Miss led 28-26 at halftime and they added 49 points in the second half in the win. The Rebels shot 49.1% from the field, 36% on three-pointers, and 73.7% on free throws in the game. Malik Dia led Ole Miss with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Jaemyn Brakefield added 16 points and five rebounds in the win.

Prior to that game, the Rebels defeated Arkansas by a score of 73-66 and Georgia by a score of 63-51. Ole Miss has won three games in a row and eight of their last nine, and they are also undefeated in SEC play. Ole Miss has scored 79.0 points per game and they have allowed 64.6 points per game, while also averaging 35.1 rebounds and 16.0 assists per game this season. Sean Pedulla is averaging 14.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, while Jaylen Murray is averaging 11.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game this season. Ole Miss is shooting 45.4% from the field, 73% on free throws, and 35.7% on three-pointers this year.

Why Alabama will beat Ole Miss

  • Ole Miss has lost each of its last 16 games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • Alabama has won 36 of its last 38 games at Coleman Coliseum.
  • Alabama has won the first half in each of its last seven games at Coleman Coliseum.

Total Points Facts

  • Each of Ole Miss’ last 10 games against Top 10 AP-ranked opponents has produced a total of 156 or fewer points.
  • Each of Alabama’s last six games against AP-ranked opponents has produced a total of 165+ points.

Alabama vs Ole Miss Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup undefeated in conference play, so this is a huge matchup that could shape the SEC this year. Alabama is scoring over 91 points per game this year and they have scored at least 88 points in four straight games. The Crimson Tide don’t play much defense, as they are allowing over 77 points per game, but they don’t mind when the offense is rolling like it is now. Ole Miss is a much better defensive team so far this year and they have allowed 66 points or fewer in four of their last five games. If this game was at Ole Miss, I think they would have a shot, but I just don’t see the Rebels keeping pace, especially with them struggling to rebound. Take Alabama to cover at home.

The LSU Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels meet Saturday in college basketball action from the Pavilion. Here’s an Ole Miss vs LSU prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Ole Miss vs LSU pick.

LSU Tigers Betting Preview

This year the Tigers kicked off their season on a pretty impressive run, but they’ve also had some issues over the last two outings. LSU beat LA-Monroe, Alabama State, Kansas State and Charleston Southern in their first four outings consecutively before a loss to Pittsburgh. The Tigers would regain their form with wins over UCF, Northwestern State, Florida State and Florida Gulf Coast in the next four games before another loss to SMU. Another winning streak commenced after that as LSU took out Stetson, New Orleans and Mississippi Valley State. Since then it’s been consecutive losses, however. Those have come versus Vanderbilt and Missouri, giving LSU an 11-4 overall record so far this season.

In the Missouri matchup on Tuesday, the Tigers came out of the break looking up at a rough 42-27 deficit on the scoreboard. LSU got better in the second half (but still got outscored) on a 41-40 run in an eventual loss 83-67. Leading the team in scoring was Cam Carter with 16 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Curtis Givens added 15 points with one rebound and one assist, while both Daimion Collins (five rebounds) and Dji Bailey (four assists; three rebounds; two steals) chipped in 11 points apiece. Corey Chest added seven points as well for LSU in the losing effort.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

Over on the Ole Miss side, they have been a highly consistent team so far this year, with only a couple of blemishes on the card. The Rebels took out Long Island University, Grambling, South Alabama, Colorado State, Oral Roberts and BYU in their first six outings. Ole Miss’ first loss came on November 29 versus Purdue, then came another string of wins. Those victories came against Louisville, Lindenwood, Southern Miss, Southern and Queens. Ole Miss took their second loss of the season against Memphis on December 28, but bounced back with consecutive wins over Georgia and Arkansas in the next pair for a 13-2 overall run so far.

In the Arkansas game on Wednesday, the Rebels held a 33-33 tie by the break. Ole Miss got better from there on a 40-33 advantage and powered out the victory 73-66 in the end. Leading the team in scoring was Malik Dia with 21 points and eight boards. Sean Pedulla added 16 points with three assists in 35 minutes of work, and Dre Davis also finished in double-figures with 10 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal. Leading the bench scorers was Eduardo Klafke with five points and two rebounds.

Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won 21 of its last 22 games at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • LSU has lost seven of its last eight day games against AP-ranked opponents.
  • LSU has lost the first half in each of its last nine day games against AP-ranked opponents.

Why the LSU Tigers will win

  • Ole Miss has lost 14 of its last 16 day games against the Southeastern Conference.
  • LSU has won eight of its last 10 games when playing with a rest advantage.
  • Ole Miss has lost the first half in four of its last five games against the Southeastern Conference.

Ole Miss vs LSU Prediction

I’ll lean toward Ole Miss I suppose, but this should be a pretty solid matchup overall. The Rebels looked pretty good in a road win over a solid Arkansas team in their last outing, hitting 46 percent shooting from the field and 36 rebounds alongside just five turnovers. The foul shooting wasn’t great though, as Ole Miss whiffed on 10 of their 28 free throws (64.3 percent). Still, it was a nice return to form on the scoreboard following a tepid 63 points in the win over Georgia.

As for LSU, they didn’t shoot horribly (42.6 percent) in the loss to Missouri, but they also got outmuscled on the boards 37-29 and had 14 turnovers for 20 Missouri points. The Tigers have given up a combined 163 points in their last two games but overall they’re scoring well on the other side. LSU has the capability to stay in range here, even during a tricky road matchup. That said, Ole Miss is the superior team and should be able to power out a cover if they play well. It’ll be a fun one to watch regardless of the outcome.

In this article, we will formulate an Arkansas vs Ole Miss prediction for this College Basketball game on Wednesday, January 8th at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this College Basketball matchup.

Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Preview

The Arkansas Razorbacks are 11-3 (0-1) this season after they lost to Tennessee by a score of 76-52 in their last game. Arkansas trailed 42-27 at halftime and only managed to score 25 points in the second half in the blowout loss. The Razorbacks shot 37.7% from the field, 20.7% on three-pointers, and 46.2% on free throws in the game. DJ Wagner led Arkansas with 17 points and three assists, while Boogie Fland added 12 points and three rebounds in the loss.

Prior to that game, the Razorbacks defeated Oakland by a score of 92-62 and NC A&T by a score of 95-67. Arkansas has won six of their last seven games, including wins over Miami and Michigan. Arkansas has scored 80.4 points per game and they have allowed 66.2 points per game, while also averaging 35.7 rebounds and 16.3 assists per game this season. Adou Thiero is averaging 16.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, while Boogie Fland is averaging 15.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game this year. Arkansas is shooting 50.7% from the field, 71.1% on free throws, and 35.4% on three-pointers this season.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels are 12-2 (1-0) this year after they defeated Georgia by a score of 63-51 in their last game. Ole Miss trailed 28-26 at the half, but they outscored Georgia 37-23 in the second half for the win. The Rebels shot 41.2% from the field, 37.5% on three-pointers, and 71.4% on free throws in the game. Matthew Murrell led Ole Miss with 15 points and six rebounds, while Jaemyn Brakefield added 15 points and four rebounds in the game.

Prior to that victory, the Rebels lost to Memphis by a score of 87-70 but did beat Queens by a score of 80-62 before that. Ole Miss has won six of their last seven games and their other loss this season came against Purdue by two points. Ole Miss has scored 79.6 points per game and they have allowed 64.5 points per game, while also averaging 35.2 rebounds and 16.0 assists per game this season. Sean Pedulla is averaging 14.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, while Jaylen Murray is averaging 12.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game this year. Ole Miss is shooting 45.2% from the field, 73.8% on free throws, and 35.5% on three-pointers this season. Ole Miss will meet LSU and Alabama after this game.

Why Arkansas will beat Ole Miss

  • Arkansas has won each of its last nine games at Bud Walton Arena.
  • Ole Miss has lost each of its last five games at Bud Walton Arena.
  • Ole Miss has lost the first half in each of its last four games against the Southeastern Conference.

Total Points Facts

  • Each of Arkansas’ last six night games against the Southeastern Conference has produced a total of 149+ points.
  • Five of Ole Miss’ last six night games against the Southeastern Conference have produced a total of 151+ points.

Arkansas vs Ole Miss Prediction

Ole Miss comes into this matchup looking to pick up their second straight conference victory, but they will be on the road here. The Rebels have started the season with just two losses against Memphis and Purdue, and they are ranked #23 in the country. Ole Miss is shooting 45.2% from the field, but their defense has been very strong, as they have allowed 64.5 points per game. Arkansas is coming off of a blowout loss against Tennessee last weekend, but they are shooting over 50% from the field on the year. The Razorbacks do have wins over Miami and Michigan, and I think their offense will get back on track, as I think Ole Miss will struggle on the road. Take Arkansas at home.

In this article, we will formulate an Ole Miss vs Georgia prediction for this College Basketball game on Saturday, January 4th at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this College Basketball matchup.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels are 11-2 (0-0) this season after they lost to Memphis by a score of 87-70 in their last game. Ole Miss trailed 38-36 at halftime and allowed 49 points in the second half in the loss. The Rebels shot 36.4% from the field, 25% on three-pointers, and 71.4% on free throws in the game. Sean Pedulla led Ole Miss with 13 points and four assists, while Jaylen Murray added 12 points and three rebounds in the loss.

Prior to that game, the Rebels defeated Queens by a score of 80-62 and Southern by a score of 74-61. Ole Miss has won five of their last six games, with their only other loss coming against Purdue by two points. Ole Miss has scored 80.8 points per game and they have allowed 65.5 points per game, while also averaging 35.2 rebounds and 16.4 assists per game this season. Sean Pedulla is averaging 14.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, while Jaylen Murray is averaging 13.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game this year. Ole Miss is shooting 45.4% from the field, 73.9% on free throws, and 35.4% on three-pointers this year. Ole Miss will take on Arkansas after this game.

Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview

The Georgia Bulldogs are 12-1 (0-0) this year after they defeated South Carolina State by a score of 79-72 in their last game. Georgia trailed 41-24 at halftime, but they scored 55 points in the second half for the win. The Bulldogs shot 54% from the field, 31.3% on three-pointers, and 64.5% on free throws in the game. RJ Godfrey led Georgia with 14 points and six rebounds, while Tyrin Lawrence added 14 points and three assists in the win.

Prior to that game, the Bulldogs defeated Charleston Southern by a score of 81-65 and Buffalo by a score of 100-49. Georgia has won seven games in a row and their lone loss so far this year came against Marquette by a score of 80-69. Georgia has scored 82.6 points per game and they have allowed 64.2 points per game, while also averaging 39.5 rebounds and 16.0 assists per game this season. De’Shayne Montgomery is averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, while Asa Newell is averaging 15.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game this year. Georgia is shooting 50.7% from the field, 71.3% on free throws, and 35.7% on three-pointers this season. Georgia will face Kentucky following this one.

Why Georgia will beat Ole Miss

  • Ole Miss has lost 14 of its last 15 day games against the Southeastern Conference.
  • Georgia has won each of its last seven games.
  • Georgia has won the first half in six of its last seven games.

Total Points Facts

  • Nine of Georgia’s last 10 games against AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 147+ points.
  • Ten of Ole Miss’ last 12 day games against Conference opponents at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss have produced a total of 142 or fewer points.

Ole Miss vs Georgia Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup after successful non-conference schedules, but Ole Miss is coming off of a loss against a decent Memphis team. The Rebels are ranked #24 in the country, but their only solid win was against Louisville. Ole Miss is shooting 45.4% from the field and they have allowed 62 points or fewer in four of their last five. Georgia only has one loss on the season, but they do have wins against Notre Dame and St. John’s. The Bulldogs are shooting over 50% from the field and they have solid defensive numbers, but those are boosted because of a weak schedule. I don’t think either of these teams is as good as their records would indicate and I do think they are pretty evenly matched, so I will take the points with Georgia.

The Duke Blue Devils and the Ole Miss Rebels meet Thursday in Gator Bowl college football action from EverBank Stadium. Here’s an Ole Miss vs Duke prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Ole Miss vs Duke pick.

Duke Blue Devils Betting Preview

The Blue Devils opened up on a nice run this year with five straight wins. Duke would then fall to Georgia Tech, SMU and Miami over the next four games before three more victories over NC State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest to finish things off.

Matched up against Wake Forest back on November 30, the Blue Devils came out of the third quarter with a 17-10 deficit. Duke stormed back with 13 unanswered points in a 23-17 win, though. QB Maalik Murphy had 235 yards with one TD and one pick, while Jordan Moore caught five balls for 98 yards and the score.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

Over on the Ole Miss side, they won their first four outings before falling to Kentucky and LSU in a three-game span. The Rebels are 4-1 since then with wins over Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia and Mississippi State alongside a lone loss to Florida.

In their November 29 matchup with Mississippi State, the Rebels were ahead by just three points going into the second half. Ole Miss cruised on a 9-0 run from there and won 26-14, though. Jaxson Dart threw for 143 yards and a TD. Ulysses Bentley added 20 carries for 136 yards and a touchdown of his own.

Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last nine games against non-conference opponents.
  • Duke has lost 14 of its last 15 games against AP-ranked teams.
  • Ole Miss has covered the spread in eight of its last nine games against non-conference opponents.
  • Ole Miss has won the first quarter in each of its last seven games against non-conference opponents.
  • Ole Miss has won the first half in each of its last seven games against non-conference opponents.

Why the Duke Blue Devils will win

  • The underdog has won each of Ole Miss’ last four Bowl games.
  • Duke has covered the spread in each of its last seven Bowl games.
  • Ole Miss has failed to cover the spread in four of its last five games as a favorite.
  • Duke has won the first half in eight of its last 10 games against non-conference opponents.
  • Duke has won the first quarter in seven of its last eight games against non-conference opponents.

Total Points Facts

  • Ten of Ole Miss’ last 11 games have gone UNDER the total points line.
  • Four of Duke’s last five games against AP-ranked teams have gone OVER the total points line.

Matchup/League Facts

  • Ole Miss ranks 1st among FBS teams for Q4 opponent points per game this season (2.6).
  • Ole Miss ranks 1st among FBS teams for H1 points per game this season (22.5).
  • Duke ranks 130th among FBS teams for 3rd down conversion percentage this season (28.9).
  • Duke ranks 128th among FBS teams for time of possession per game this season (26:50).

Ole Miss vs Duke Prediction

I’ll stay with Ole Miss, but you could argue this one either way. It seems a fairly generous line for Duke. In any case, the Rebels started pretty slowly versus a struggling Mississippi State team in their last game but eventually pulled off the two-score win on 21 first downs and 397 total yards (254 rushing). The Rebels have scored 26 or more points in five of their last six games—a 4-2 stretch—and they’ve held opponents to 14 points or fewer in three of their last five.

As for Duke, they needed a big fourth quarter to power past Wake Forest in their last game despite holding the Deacons to a tepid 318 total yards. The Devils had a couple of turnovers in that one and went only 5-of-13 on third-down tries, so they could use a cleaner effort here. That said, Duke has put up 23 or more points in six straight games, going 4-2 with a pair of losses to ranked teams in SMU and Miami. The Blue Devils have just two non-overtime losses this year and gave up more than 24 points in just one of that pair (53 to Miami). Ole Miss’ offense has their work cut out for them, but I like the Rebels to pull it off.

Ole Miss Recap

Jaemyn Brakefield has 9.6 PPG with 5 RPG while Malik Dia has 6.8 PPG with a team-high 5.3 RPG to share the lead for the Rebels on the glass so far this season. Why the Memphis Tigers will win

  • Memphis has won 35 of its last 39 games against non-Conference opponents at FedExForum.
  • Ole Miss has lost three of its last four road games against the American Athletic Conference.

Memphis vs Ole Miss Prediction

I’m on Ole Miss here. The home team has won the last 5 meetings between these two teams, but the Tigers have had issues against the SEC so far this season as the SEC has been the most dominant conference as a whole this season. Ole Miss is a solid team that’s starting to round into form and I think they get it done here. Give me Ole Miss.

The Queens Royals and Ole Miss Rebels meet Saturday in college basketball action at the Sandy and John Black Pavilion. Here’s a Ole Miss vs Queens Prediction. This article will include a Ole Miss vs Queens Pick.

Queens Royals Betting Preview

The Queens Royals beat Mercer and Gardner-Webb, and they play Stetson, Florida Gulf Coast and Lipscomb next. The Queens Royals are averaging 75.3 points on 42.3 percent shooting and allowing 73 points on 43.6 percent shooting. Leo Colimerio is averaging 10.9 points and 4.9 rebounds, while Chris Ashby is averaging 10.6 points and 1.2 rebounds. Asjon Anderson is dishing 1.6 assists and Yoav Berman is grabbing 3.8 rebounds. The Queens Royals are shooting 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 62.6 percent from the free throw line. The Queens Royals are allowing 31 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 34.7 rebounds per game.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels beat Southern Miss and Southern, and they play Memphis, Georgia and Arkansas next. The Ole Miss Rebels are averaging 82 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allowing 64 points on 40.2 percent shooting. Sean Pedulla is averaging 13.9 points and 3.9 assists, while Jaylen Murray is averaging 13.6 points and 2.4 rebounds. Matthew Murrell is the third double-digit scorer and Dre Davis is grabbing 5 rebounds. The Ole Miss Rebels are shooting 37.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.9 percent from the free throw line. Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last 16 night games at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • Queens University has lost 12 of its last 13 away games when playing with a rest disadvantage.

  • Queens University ranks 5th among Division 1 teams for opponent free throw percentage this season (61.8%).
  • Queens University ranks 25th among Division 1 teams for pace this season (73.0).

Ole Miss vs Queens Prediction

This is a potential look ahead spot for the Ole Miss Rebels who have Memphis, Georgia, and Arkansas on deck. However, Ole Miss is rolling with wins in 9 of their last 10 games and covers in 7 of their last 8 games. The Queens Royals don’t shoot the ball well enough to keep up with Ole Miss, and haven’t faced a team this talented. We’ve seen BYU and Utah mop the floor with Queens. Give me Ole Miss in a beat down at home.

In this article, we will formulate an Ole Miss vs Southern prediction for this College Basketball game on Tuesday, December 17th at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this College Basketball matchup.

Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels are 9-1 this season after they defeated Southern Miss by a score of 77-46 in their last game. Ole Miss led 38-28 at halftime and they held Southern Miss to just 18 points in the second half in the blowout win. The Rebels shot 44.8% from the field, 40.6% on three-pointers, and 60% on free throws in the game. Sean Pedulla led Ole Miss with 18 points and four assists in the win.

Prior to that game, the Rebels defeated Lindenwood by a score of 86-53 and Louisville by a score of 86-63. Ole Miss has scored 82.7 points per game and they have allowed 64.2 points per game, while also averaging 35.5 rebounds and 16.1 assists per game this season. Sean Pedulla is averaging 14.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, while Ole Miss is shooting 46.5% from the field, 74.5% on free throws, and 37.1% on three-pointers this year.

Southern Jaguars Betting Preview

The Southern Jaguars are 5-4 this year after they defeated Lindsey Wilson by a score of 94-69 in their last game. Southern led 43-36 at the half, but they scored 51 points to pull away in the second half. The Jaguars shot 51.5% from the field, 46.7% on three-pointers, and 70.4% on free throws in the game. Michael Jacobs led Southern with 23 points and three rebounds in the game.

Southern has scored 84.9 points per game and they have allowed 69.8 points per game, while also averaging 38.3 rebounds and 14.9 assists per game this season. Jordan Johnson is averaging 11.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game, while Southern is shooting 47% from the field, 70.9% on free throws, and 34.8% on three-pointers this year.

Why Ole Miss will beat Southern

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last 15 night games at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • Southern has lost each of its last eight road night games against non-conference opponents.
  • Southern has lost the first half in each of its last 10 Tuesday games against non-conference opponents.

Ole Miss vs Southern Prediction

Ole Miss comes into this matchup ranked #17 in the country and they are looking for their fourth win in a row. The Rebels’ lone loss came against Purdue by two points and their best win is against Louisville. Southern has won four games in a row, but they do have a 15-point loss to Iowa and a 17-point loss to A&M. The Jaguars have actually been pretty solid to start this season, but the Ole Miss defense should hold them to 60 points or fewer. Take Ole Miss to cover at home.

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last 15 games against the Sun Belt Conference.
  • Southern Miss has lost each of its last six games played at neutral venues.

Ole Miss vs Southern Mississippi Prediction

I’m on Ole Miss here. If there’s one thing Chris Beard teams are good at for the most part, it’s blowing out inferior teams at home. The Rebels have crushed a lot of subpar opposition and the blowout of Lindenwood last time out was no exception. I think the Rebels do the same here to Southern Miss so give me the Rebels in this one.

Ole Miss vs Lindenwood Prediction

Ole Miss comes into this game ranked #23 in the country and their only loss so far this season was by two points against Purdue. The Rebels did just beat Louisville by 23 points and they are scoring 83 points per game this year. Lindenwood has lost to Oklahoma, New Orleans, Robert Morris, Valpo, and Missouri, while two of their three wins have been against non-D-1 teams. Ole Miss has had a very strong start to the season, but we have also seen them struggle to pull away from these lesser teams. Take Lindenwood and the points here.

The Ole Miss Rebels and the Louisville Cardinals meet Tuesday in college basketball action from the KFC Yum! Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s an Louisville vs Ole Miss Prediction.

Ole Miss Recap

The Ole Miss Rebels come into this one looking to bounce back from an 80-78 loss to Purdue in their last matchup to fall to 6-1 on the year. After this game, Ole Miss will head home for a matchup with Lindenwood.

Rebels Take First L Of The Year

Jaylen Murray leads the Rebels in scoring and assists with 14.6 PPG along with 4.9 APG while Matthew Murrell has 13.3 PPG with 2.7 SPG. Sean Pedulla’s added 13 PPG with 4 RPG and 3.1 APG while Jaemyn Brakefield has 11.1 PPG with 6 RPG and Dre Davis has 11 PPG with 5 RPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for Ole Miss so far this season. Malik Dia has 6.9 PPG with a team-high 5.9 RPG to lead the Rebels on the glass so far this season. As a team, Ole Miss is averaging 82.6 PPG on 44.6% shooting from the field, 36.4% from three and 76.4% from the foul line this season.

Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win

  • Ole Miss has won each of its last 12 night games against non-Conference opponents.
  • Louisville has lost each of its last eight night games against AP-ranked opponents.

Louisville Recap

The Louisville Cardinals come into this one looking to bounce back from a 69-64 loss to Oklahoma last time out. After this game, Louisville will kick off conference play with a home date with Duke.

Cardinals Looking To Rebound

Chucky Hepburn leads the Cardinals in scoring and assists with 14.6 PPG and 4.6 APG while Reyne Smith has 13.1 PPG with 3.3 RPG and Kasean Pryor has 12 PPG with 6.1 RPG, but is expected to miss the rest of the season with an injury. Terrence Edwards Jr. has 11.1 PPG with 3.6 RPG and 2.6 APG to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Louisvills so far this season. J’Vonne Hadley also has 9.4 PPG with a team-high 7.3 RPG to lead the Cardinals on the glass so far this year. As a team, Louisville is averaging 79.4 PPG on 44.7% shooting from the field, 28.7% from three and 70.7% from the foul line this season.

Why the Louisville Cardinals will win

  • Louisville has won four of its last five games.

Louisville vs Ole Miss Prediction

I’m on Ole Miss here. The Cardinals are a solid team, but I don’t think you can understate the loss of Kasean Pryor to Louisville, and this is a Cardinals team that has had to adopt the Pat Kelsey approach of bombing away threes. The problem is that Louisville isn’t hitting them at a high rate and this is still a solid Chris Beard coached defense. I think Ole Miss keeps themselves in this game, so give me the points with the Rebels here.
