Kansas City Chiefs Betting Preview

The Kansas City Chiefs were 15-2 this season and they are coming off of a 23-14 win over Houston in their last game. Kansas City led 13-6 at halftime, but the lead was cut to 13-12 in the third quarter, before Kansas City pulled away in the game. The Chiefs were out gained by a total of 336-212, tied the turnover battle at zero, and went 4-11 on third down in the game, but they did get a few favorable calls in the victory. Patrick Mahomes threw for 177 yards and one touchdown, while Travis Kelce caught seven passes for 117 yards and one score in the game. 

Prior to that win, the Chiefs lost to the Broncos by a score of 38-0, but did beat the Steelers by a score of 29-10 before that. Kansas City has won seven of their last eight games and they won the AFC West by four games over the Chargers. The Kansas City offense has scored 22.6 points per game with 222.4 passing yards and 105.3 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 19.2 points against per game this year. Patrick Mahomes completed 67.5% of his passes for 3,928 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, while Travis Kelce caught 97 passes for 823 yards and three scores in the regular season. 

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

The Buffalo Bills were 13-4 this year and they are coming off of a 27-25 win over Baltimore in their last game. Buffalo led 21-10 at halftime, but they needed to stop a two point conversion with 1:33 left in the fourth for the win. The Bills were out gained by a total of 416-273, won the turnover battle 3-0, and went 5-11 on third down in the game. Josh Allen threw for 127 yards on 16 completions, while James Cook rushed for 67 yards on 17 carries in the game. 

Prior to that victory, the Bills defeated the Broncos by a score of 31-7 in the Wild Card round. Buffalo has won five of their last six games and they won the AFC East by five games over the Dolphins. The Buffalo offense has scored 30.9 points per game with 227.9 passing yards and 131.2 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 21.6 points against per game this season. Josh Allen has completed 75% of his passes for 399 yards and two touchdowns, while James Cook has rushed for 187 yards and one score in the playoffs.

Ravens Have Confidence

There wasn’t much doubt from many about what the Baltimore Ravens would be able to do against the Pittsburgh Steelers and they lived right up to the expectations. At halftime, they were up 21-0, and although they took their foot off the gas and gave up 14 points in the third quarter, they were still able to cruise. Lamar Jackson completed 16 of his 21 passes for 175 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Derrick Henry had a huge game finishing with 26  carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns. He has been an X-factor all season, and in this game, they are going to need him to be quite impressive.

The Ravens are averaging 30.5 points while their defense is giving up 21.2 points per game. The offense is ranked 3rd in the NFL while the defense is ranked 9th. The Ravens currently sit with a 13-5 record and they have gone 11-6-1 against the spread. On the season, Lamar Jackson has thrown for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Zay Flowers hurt his knee in the last game and is questionable for this game.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview

The Broncos opened up the season with a couple of losses, and things weren’t looking good initially. Denver fell to the Seahawks and Steelers in their first pair but found their footing with a 5-1 run over the next six games. The Broncos would lose to only the Chargers during that stretch, otherwise taking wins over the Buccaneers, Jets, Saints, and Panthers. The Broncos would lose consecutive games versus the Ravens and Chiefs but headed into the bye with three straight victories over the Falcons, Raiders, and Browns. Over the last four weeks of the regular season, Denver went 2-2, taking another pair of consecutive losses versus the Chargers and Bengals in between victories over the Colts and Chiefs for a 10-7 overall record.

In their Week 18 game versus the Chiefs, Denver essentially played a game against their opponent’s reserves. The Broncos were able to sleepwalk through that matchup, scoring 24 points in the first half (and putting up points in all four quarters) along the way to a 38-0 blowout defeat. Quarterback Bo Nix finished with 321 yards and four passing touchdowns while also leading the rushing attack with seven carries for 47 yards. Leading the receivers was Courtland Sutton with five grabs for 98 yards and a TD. Marvin Mims caught five balls as well for 51 yards and two touchdowns, while Devaughn Vele posted the other receiving TD.

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

Over on the Bills’ side, they were able to open up the year with three straight wins. Those came versus the Cardinals, Dolphins, and Jaguars. Following Buffalo’s only pair of consecutive losses this season—versus the Ravens and Texans—the Bills recovered with six straight victories going into the bye week. Those were versus the Jets, Titans, Seahawks, Dolphins, Colts and Chiefs. Since then the Bills have been on a 4-2 run over the final six games of the regular season. Buffalo fell versus the Rams and Patriots in that time with victories otherwise versus the 49ers, Lions, Patriots, and Jets. The result was a solid 13-4 overall record this year.

In the Week 18 matchup versus the rival Patriots, the Bills weren’t able to finish off their regular-season campaign with a victory—but the team was mostly using their reserves as the game hardly mattered. Buffalo was down 17-16 going into the final quarter but ended up losing 23-16 in the end. Mitch Trubisky posted 101 passing yards with a score, while Ray Davis led the rushing attack on 15 carries for 64 yards. Curtis Samuel was the leading team receiver with seven catches for 52 yards, and Keon Coleman registered two grabs for 31 yards.

I’m probably just going to stay with the Bills here. Buffalo didn’t have to do a whole lot versus the Patriots, outside of just getting through the game. The Bills’ stats are reflected in that, as they notched a fairly uncharacteristic 259 total yards (129 passing) and 16 first downs. Buffalo was able to keep a struggling Patriots team in line defensively, however, giving up a modest 19 first downs and 309 total yards. Prior to that matchup, the Bills had scored 30 or more points in nine of their previous 10 games. Buffalo is averaging 30.9 points per game overall this year, with 227.9 yards per game passing (and 30 touchdowns) alongside 131.2 yards per game rushing (and 32 touchdowns.

As for Denver, they’ve overachieved a bit this year and are looking better after a confidence-boosting beatdown of the Chiefs reserves in Week 18. The Broncos have been close in most of their losses this year—only one came by more than a touchdown. That was a 41-10 loss to the Ravens on November 3. Buffalo is capable of putting the Broncos back down though, and I think the Bills will show their stuff at home with a double-digit victory.

Buffalo Bills Recap

The Buffalo Bills come into this game looking to prep for the postseason after ending up with a 40-14 win over the Jets last time out to improve to 13-3 on the year, but despite the win, with Kansas City taking down Pittsburgh, the Chiefs would lock up the top spot in the AFC and the Bills would lock into 2^nd.

Josh Allen has thrown for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions on 63.6% passing while also rushing for 531 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Jets have had yet another forgettable season this year, and they’re just counting down the days at this point. New York went just 3-8 ahead of their bye week, then fell to the Seahawks and Dolphins before their fourth win of the year over the Jaguars.

On Sunday versus the Rams, the Jets took yet another loss. New York were up 9-6 going into the final quarter, then gave up 13 unanswered points in a 19-9 loss. QB Aaron Rodgers finished with 256 yards and a TD. Breece Hall led the rush with 52 yards on 14 carries and Davante Adams had seven grabs for 68 yards and the touchdown.

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

Over on the Bills’ side, they cruised through their first 11 games before the bye on a 9-2 run. Buffalo’s only blemishes were versus the Ravens and Texans. The Bills came back with wins over the 49ers and Lions around a loss to the Rams after the open week.

Matched up against the Patriots this past weekend, Buffalo was down 14-7 by the break. The Bills got better from there on a 17-7 run and took the victory 24-21 in the end, though. Josh Allen had 154 yards with one TD and one interception. James Cook led both the rush (100 yards; TD) and the receivers (26 yards; TD).

I’ll stay with the Bills. Buffalo could use a better performance here following their tepid game against a bad Patriots team, though. The Bills gave up 379 yards and 28 first downs in that one but did post a trio of takeaways (two fumbles). The offense was pretty bland as well with 324 total yards (152 passing) and 19 first downs. The 24 points were Buffalo’s lowest total since way back on October 14 (23) coincidentally in a three-point win over the Jets.
Speaking of New York, they’re just counting the days until they can break out the golf clubs and coming off another double-digit loss. The Jets did okay in the first half and held LA to just 242 total yards with 17 first downs total. After halftime was another story, though. New York has scored 21 or more points in four of their last five (a 1-4 run) so Buffalo’s defense has their work cut out for them here. So long as the offense comes along for the ride, I think the Bills will be okay.

As for New England, they just can’t seem to score. The Patriots had some extra prep time for the Cardinals last weekend but still came up with just 17 first downs and 311 yards on offense (195 passing) for a measly 17 points. New England has been below 26 points in every game so far this year. On paper at least, there’s no way they’ll keep any kind of pace on the scoreboard during a road game versus Buffalo’s offense.

In that one, the Bills gave up 457 total yards (320 passing) and 28 first downs. The offense didn’t really get moving until the fourth quarter (21 points) either. Still, the Bills have now scored 30 or more points in seven straight games.

As for the Lions, in their last game, they mustered 391 total yards (280 passing) and 27 first downs against a good Green Bay team in a pretty tight win. Detroit is now averaging 32.1 points per game and giving up 18.0 on the other side. That said, three of the Lions’ last five wins have been by just three points each (against Houston, Chicago, and Green Bay). Detroit will get the advantage of rest, preparation, and home field coming into this one so Buffalo is going to have to play some very good football in order to cover/win. I think the Bills can do it, though. Should be a fun one to check out.

LA Rams Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Rams are 6-6 this year after they defeated the Saints by a score of 21-14 in their last game. Los Angeles trailed 6-0 at halftime and they were tied at 14 in the fourth quarter, but they scored the last touchdown in the game for the win. The Rams were outgained by a total of 327-322, tied the turnover battle at zero, and went 4-9 on third down in the game. Matthew Stafford threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns, while Kyren Williams rushed for 104 yards and one score in the game. 

Prior to that win, the Rams lost to Philadelphia by a score of 37-20 but did beat New England by a score of 28-22 before that. The LA offense has scored 21.2 points per game with 230.8 passing yards and 100.2 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 24.2 points per game this season. Matthew Stafford has completed 66% of his passes for 2,983 yards, 17 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, while Cooper Kupp has caught 58 passes for 565 yards and five scores. 

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

The Buffalo Bills are 10-2 this season after they defeated San Francisco by a score of 35-10 in their last game. Buffalo led 21-3 at the half and they pulled away in the second half for the blowout win. Buffalo rolls into this game looking for their eighth win in a row, but both of their losses have been on the road. Los Angeles has alternated wins and losses over their last five games and they just lost to Philadelphia by 17 points at home two games ago. The Rams do have a nice passing attack with Stafford at the helm, and I think he can keep them in this game. The Bills are the better team, but I think this is a tough spot flying across the country after playing in that snow game last week. Take the Rams and the points at home.

More recently, in the Buffalo Bills impressive 30-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week, Josh Allen accumulated 262 passing yards, one passing touchdown, 55 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.

Looking at the data just presented more closely, in the Buffalo Bills victory over the Kansas City Chiefs just mentioned, Josh Allen amassed a whopping 25.1 Draftkings points.

Bills Keep Winning

The Bills look like they could win the Super Bowl this season and they keep winning games. The Bills last game came against the Kansas City Chiefs and they were able to secure the 30-21 victory. Josh Allen completed 27 of his 40 passes for 262 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Allen was the top rusher also finishing with 12 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown. The Bills did have a bye week and they hope that will help them get healthy. Keon Coleman is dealing with a wrist injury and he’s questionable for this game. Dalton Kincaid is dealing with a knee injury and is also questionable for this game. The Bills are averaging 29.1 points while their defense is giving up 19.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 3rd in the league while the defense is ranked 7th. 

Why the Bills Will Beat the 49ers

• The Bills have won each of their last 12 games at Highmark Stadium against opponents on a losing streak.
• The 49ers have lost four of their last five games against AFC opponents on a winning streak.
• The 49ers have failed to cover the spread in eight of their last nine games against teams that held a winning record.
• The Bills have covered the spread in six of their last seven games against NFC West opponents.
• The 49ers have lost the first half in four of their last five games as underdogs.

49ers is Dealing With Injuries

The 49ers are dealing with some major injuries right now and they could wreak some havoc on this game. Brock Purdy had to miss the last game with a shoulder injury and he’s been doing some light throwing early in the week as he tries to get back. In the last game against the Green Bay Packers, the 49ers only scored 10 points, while the defense gave up 38 points. Brandon Allen filled in for Purdy and he completed 17 of his 29 passes for 199 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The offense wasn’t good, but the defense also was a major issue. If Purdy can’t go this week, it will be Allen who is going to get the start here. The 49ers are averaging 23.6 points while their defense is giving up 23.6 points per game. The offense is ranked 13th in the league while the defense is ranked 20th. Nick Bosa is dealing with a hip injury and he’s questionable for this game. 

Buffalo Bills vs San Francisco 49ers prediction

Even if Brock Purdy plays, the Bills are going to put on a show here. Even with Purdy this season, the 49ers haven’t played all that well this season. Josh Allen is having an MVP-type season and the Bills are going to have no issue running up the score here. Look for the Bills to score at least 28 points here, and that is going to be the difference here. The 49ers offense isn’t going to be keeping up, and the Bills will cruise. Look for Purdy to throw a couple of interceptions, too. Back the Bills against the spread.

Kansas City Chiefs Betting Preview

The Chiefs have been on a great run so far this year, managing to stay undefeated despite some very close calls. Kansas City has taken out the Ravens, Bengals, Falcons, Chargers, Saints, 49ers, Raiders, Buccaneers and Broncos in succession so far.

In the Broncos matchup on Sunday, the Chiefs gave up 14 points in the second quarter but clawed back on a pair of second-half field goals for a 16-14 victory. Patrick Mahomes threw for 266 yards and a score. Kareem Hunt added six catches for 65 yards as the lead receiver.

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

Over on the Bills’ side, they’ve had a pretty good season themselves. Buffalo lost consecutive games to the Ravens and Texans in late September/early October. Aside from that, it’s been wins over the Cardinals, Dolphins, Jaguars, Jets, Titans, Seahawks, Dolphins and Colts in succession.

In the Colts game, the Bills took a 20-13 edge into the second half. After 10 fourth-quarter points, Buffalo walked away with a 30-20 win. Josh Allen threw for 280 yards and two interceptions with a rush score. James Cook bagged 19 carries for 80 yards on the ground.

Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs Prediction

I’ll go with Buffalo here. We should have a pretty fun matchup, though. The Bills defense did most of the work in their latest win over the Colts, notching four takeaways (three picks) and 4-of-11 allowed on third-down conversions. The offense wasn’t exactly perfect with a couple of turnovers (not to mention eight team penalties total), but got the job done.

As for KC, they’re coming off yet another Houdini escape over a tricky Broncos team. The Chiefs held Denver to just 260 total yards (78 rushing) and 16 first downs. On offense, Kansas City notched 300 yards (243 passing) and 19 first downs. Sunday’s game should be a great matchup on both sides but ultimately I like the Bills to pull off the cover at home and give KC their first loss. It’ll be a great game to watch regardless.

The Bills are coming off a strong 7-2 start, leading the AFC East and enjoying one of the best point differentials in the NFL (+87). Quarterback Josh Allen has been playing at an elite level, with 2,001 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions this season. His sharpness, especially in limiting turnovers, has been a key improvement this year​. The Bills have a balanced offense, with solid contributions from running back James Cook and a receiving corps led by Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir​. On defense, Buffalo has been solid, allowing only 19.2 points per game​.

On the other hand, the Colts are struggling with a 4-5 record. Despite this, they have been resilient in close games, though their offense has been inconsistent. The Colts recently turned to veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, and while he has experience, he’s not the same player he once was​. Running back Jonathan Taylor has been a bright spot with 502 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns​. However, Indianapolis’ defense has been vulnerable, particularly in the secondary, which could be a concern against the high-powered Bills offense​. With the Bills favored by 4.5 points, they enter as the stronger team, but the Colts will look to rely on their home-field advantage and hope to capitalize on any weaknesses in the Bills’ defense. Buffalo’s sharp offense, however, should be able to handle the Colts’ defensive struggles, making them the favorites to win.

James Cook Over 15.5 Rec Yards -115

James Cook is expected to record more than 15 receiving yards against the Colts on November 10 due to his consistent role as a receiving back in the Buffalo Bills offense. So far in the 2024 season, he has been involved in the passing game, catching passes out of the backfield. Cook has totaled 170 receiving yards on 13 catches, averaging 20.7 yards per game. This makes him a reliable outlet for quarterback Josh Allen, who has frequently used him in passing situations.

The Colts defense has been susceptible to running backs in the passing game, so this trend of Cook getting multiple targets and contributing in the passing game should continue. Cook has big play potential every time he touches the ball and he can get over this number from just one catch.

Joe Flacco Over 227.5 Pass Yards -110

Joe Flacco has taken over the starting role for this Colts team and is looking to find his groove this season, completing 68% of his passes for 895 yards. He has thrown 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Despite a relatively modest yardage total, Flacco has been efficient. He is known for his experience and ability to stretch the field, though his overall production has been limited in certain matchups. Flacco will need to continue making effective use of his arm to remain competitive against tougher defenses.

The Bills’ defense has been struggling against the pass, allowing significant yardage to opposing quarterbacks. The Bills are 3.5-point favorites in this game so expect Flacco and the Colts to be playing behind. I expect the Bills to put their focus on Jonathan Taylor and force Flacco to move the ball through the air. We saw last season with the Browns each week Flacco got better and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s going to be the same case with him and the Colts. With Flacco’s ability to stretch the field and utilize his experience in the passing game, he is likely to exceed that yardage in a competitive matchup.

Khalil Shakir Over 66.5 Rec Yards -115

Khalil Shakir is expected to surpass 66 receiving yards on November 10 against the Indianapolis Colts due to a combination of factors. He has been a steady contributor for the Buffalo Bills, racking up 471 receiving yards on the season across 8 games. Shakir has been building momentum, with a standout 107-yard performance against Seattle a couple weeks ago.

The Colts’ defense is ranked lower in pass coverage, making this an ideal opportunity for Shakir to exploit their vulnerabilities and potentially reach that yardage milestone. The Bills will be without Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper is questionable so Shakir will have to be Josh Allens main option. With the Bills’ offense relying on Josh Allen’s arm, Shakir should see plenty of targets and could exceed 66 yards in this matchup.
