I know it seems way to early to predict the difficulty of players’ playoff schedule and you are probably right however I would rather get my thoughts out ahead of the draft rather than waiting until after the fantasy draft takes place to think about their playoff schedule. Here I will be naming 3 quarterbacks who I believe with thrive in the fantasy playoffs this season.

Note I am considering the fantasy playoffs as weeks 15-17 so if your league does not have the playoffs during these weeks than this list won’t entirely apply to you.

It is important to also note that this list is by no means saying these quarterbacks are must draft players, however I believe that these players would be solid players to consider drafting since I predict they will out produce what they are projected in the playoffs.

Brock Purdy

Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Purdy had a great season last year, despite falling short in the Super Bowl. This year he should remain a solid quarterback option for teams that want to draft a qb late. Along with his solid play he will also have an easy schedule in the fantasy playoffs.

Purdy vs Rams

To start he will be going against the Rams in the first round of the playoffs. The Rams were ranked as the 5th easiest defense for quarterbacks last season, and with Aaron Donald retiring, it will be a lot easier for quarterbacks to play well against this team.

Purdy vs Dolphins

Following that, the 49ers will play against the Dolphins, who I think regressed on defense a lot more than the Rams, losing key pieces like Christian Wilkins, Xavien Howard, Jerome Baker, and Vic Fangio. This causes a defense that was already ranked 11th easiest defense against quarterbacks in fantasy, to become a lot softer in the upcoming year.

Purdy vs Lions

Finally, in the championship round, Purdy will go up against the Lions, who were ranked 6th in the easiest defense against quarterbacks last season. Overall Purdy despite not being a highly ranked fantasy quarterback can be a very good option in the playoffs this year.

Dak Prescott

Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Dak is coming off debatably the best season of his career. Ignoring the disappointing ending to the season Dak played at an MVP caliber and was a very good quarterback in fantasy football as-well. This year he should play around the same level, and that mixed with his easy playoff schedule should bode well for fantasy managers.

Prescott vs Panthers

To start, he will be facing off against the Panthers’ defense, which was tough on quarterbacks last year but just lost a big piece in Brian Burns. Although this wont make the Panthers a lack luster defense it should allow an easier time for quarterbacks than the prior year.

Prescott vs Buccaneers

Following that, they will play the Buccaneers, who were ranked as a top 10 easiest defense in fantasy for quarterbacks, but when looking at games against opponents outside the NFC South, they allowed the second most passing yards of any team in the NFL.

Prescott vs Eagles

Finally, Prescott play the Eagles, who gave up the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks last year. In their two matchups last season Dak averaged around 27.4 fantasy points against the Eagles with zero interceptions. Although the Eagles did improve their defense in the draft this year, I don’t see them making a huge leap to stop Dak this season.

Jayden Daniels

Credit: Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

This Commanders’ offense is looking very different from years prior, and one of the new pieces is rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. Many are saying he could have a lot of upside as a fantasy quarterback and I am starting to see it, especially with the fantasy playoff schedule he was given this year.

Daniels vs Saints

To start the fantasy playoffs Daniels will be facing the Saints who were a decent defense last year, but they gained no game changers in the offseason. Although the start isn’t the easiest the schedule gets much easier.

Daniels vs Eagles

In week 16 he will be going against the Eagles, who, like mentioned earlier, gave up the second most points to quarterbacks last season, giving up an average of 22.3 points. Along with this the Eagles lost a key edge rusher in Haason Reddick and are going to be relying on a lot of younger players to step up on defense. Although the Eagles defense should improve with Vic Fangio being the coach I still see the Eagles letting up a lot of points on defense.

Daniels vs Falcons

Finally, in the championship round, the commanders will be playing the Atlanta Falcons who were a middle-of-the-pack defense but allowed the second most rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks in the league last year. Which is important since Daniels is a dual threat quarterback so I expect him to get at least one rushing touchdown in that game.

Here I will be listing off the top 10 fantasy receivers for the 2024-2025 fantasy football season. Although we are still quite a ways away from the start of the season it is never too early to rank the players. However, it is important to understand that the list is subject to change depending on if teams make trades or players get injured during the offseason.

Note I am ranking these players based off of PPR leagues. Although they will still be good in non-PPR leagues the order of the players would change if I were to be ranking them in standard or half-PPR leagues.

10. Mike Evans

Credit: Jonathan Dyer-USA TODAY Sports

For the last couple of years now “Fantasy Experts” have said Mike Evans was going to heavily decline in production and every year he has proven them wrong especially last year when he put up the second most yards in his career and finished 4th in fantasy points for receivers. Until I see him actually not producing at the same level it is very difficult for me to have him outside of the top 10 fantasy receivers list.

9. Brandon Aiyuk

Credit: Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Choosing between Aiyuk and Deebo was very difficult and although I think Deebo will outscore Aiyuk in a decent amount of games I believe Aiyuk will be more consistent throughout the year putting him in the top 10 and forcing Deebo to fall right outside of this list. Aiyuk is an incredible receiver and if he is able to make a deal with the 49ers will be an elite fantasy receiver this year.

8. Garret Wilson

Credit: Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Garret Wilson has had an unlucky start to his career with inconsistent quarterback play his rookie year, and then last year having Rodgers get injured in the first game of the season causing more inconsistent quarterback play for the rest of the season. We are all aware of Wilson’s talent; the question lies with who will be throwing him the ball.

7. Aj Brown

Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Brown had a pretty good season last year despite the slow start and end to the season. The big wideout was able to go on a 6 game streak of over 125 yards and 6 receptions, but after that he had only one game making it to 100 yards. Last season the Eagles as a whole fell apart towards the end of the year, but Brown should be a consistent threat this year and a top tier fantasy receiver.

6. Puka Nacua

Credit: Lon Horwedel-USA TODAY Sports

Nacua was the breakout receiver of the 2023 NFL season seemingly replacing Copper Kupp in that Rams’ offense, although I do believe some people are undervaluing Kupp this year it is safe to say Nacua is the number 1 Wide Receiver in L.A. Being the first option on the same offensive system that made Kupp should benefit Nacua to be a top tier fantasy receiver this season.

5. Amon-Ra St. Brown

Credit: Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

St. Brown was great last season finishing 3rd amongst receivers in PPR leagues while missing a game. This Lions’ offense is incredibly explosive and allows multiple players to be top 10 fantasy options at their position, and St. Brown is no exception.

4. Justin Jefferson

Credit: Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

Jefferson will be facing a new challenge this upcoming year playing with a new quarterback. We saw last season that he could find success with other quarterbacks, but now he will have to do it for an entire season. Although I believe he will still be a great fantasy option I wonder how Sam Darnold and J.J McCarthy will affect his stats this season.

3. Ja’Marr Chase

Credit: Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports

Despite having an up and down season last year he was still able to put up over 1200 yards and 7 touchdowns in just 16 games. Despite these good numbers he did have a rough start and finish to the season dealing with new quarterbacks and an injured Joe Burrow. This year if Burrow is able to start hot this year and stay healthy Chase will have a much better year than the previous two seasons.

2. Tyreek Hill

Credit: Jim Rassol-USA TODAY Sports

Hill had a great start to the season last year and was the second best fantasy receiver at the end of the season, but he did not preform great in the fantasy playoffs. However, this does not take away from his phenomenal year he had with the Dolphins. Another year in the Dolphins’ offense should bode well for the speedy receiver.

1. CeeDee Lamb

Credit: Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

CeeDee Lamb really surprised me last year with how well he preformed. Although he was projected to be top 10 last year seeing him be the best receiver was a shock. I see no reason for Lamb to fall short of best fantasy receiver this season aside from an unfortunate injury.

As the days tick down before the NFL season it is important that we get ahead of the curve and decide on the top 10 fantasy running backs. This list is coming out early and could change depending on events yet to occur in the offseason.

Note I am ranking these players based off of PPR leagues. Although they will still be good in non-PPR leagues the order of the players would change if I were to be ranking them in standard or half-PPR leagues.

10 Travis Etienne

Credit: Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports

Etienne had a good season recording over 1,000 rushing yards, 472 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns. This upcoming year the Jaguars plan to improve after the embarrassing end to last season and I am sure Etienne will be a part of the changes made to get better. Although I don’t believe he will be as good as last season, I still think he will be top 10 at the end of the year.

9. Isaiah Pacheco

Credit: Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Pacheco has definitely earned the title of the most aggressive running back in the league with extremely physical plays on the field. Despite only playing in 14 games he still nearly recorded 1,000 rushing yards and averaged more fantasy points per game than Derrick Henry, and Bijan Robinson. This year will be another year of being a strong workhouse back for the Chiefs.

8. Josh Jacobs

Credit: Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

Josh Jacobs is the newly acquired running back for the Green Bay Packers. Last year in Vegas he played decently, although disappointing compared to his monstrous 2022 season. However I see him having a great year in Green Bay since he will be on a more competent team with a great coach.

7. Kyren Williams

Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Last season Kyren Williams was the clear waiver wire MVP and he came onto the scene and instantly left a mark recording 1,144 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in only 12 games. Williams was a great pick up for those following the no rb strategy and was a surprise to see as a top 5 fantasy running back at the end of the season. He will continue to reign terror on defenses in the upcoming season, and although some are worried about the new rookie running back taking touches from him I don’t think it is concerning enough to pass up on him in the draft.

6. Jamyr Gibbs

Credit: Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

In his rookie year fans were worried that he would not perform well due to David Montgomery splitting carries with him, but Gibbs showed that they could coexist on the team. Gibbs was able to play very well his rookie season being third in yards per carry. I believe this season will be even better for the Lions running back and the touchdowns will even out between the two.

5. Saquon Barkley

Credit: Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Barkley has always been a good running back with bad luck, but now that he will be playing for an Eagles team that is better than the Giants in every regard. It wouldn’t be shocking if Barkley had his best season yet this year. What held Barkley back last season besides missing some games was the struggle to find the end zone with the Giants. I think that even with Jalen Hurts taking some red zone targets away Barkley will still have an easier time getting touchdowns this year.

4. Jonathan Taylor

Credit: Jenna Watson- USA TODAY Sports

Taylor has struggled to get back to his 2021 form these last two years mainly due to struggling with injuries. However, his glaring talent makes it very difficult to draft him outside of the top 5. If the injury Gods avoid him he could have a very good season

3. Bijan Robinson

Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Bijan had a good rookie year, but with Kirk Cousins now playing quarterback along with new coaches in the building big things are coming for the Atlanta Falcons players, especially Bijan Robinson. Honestly he could very easily be in this 2 spot instead, but I am going to play it conservative and prioritize the running back with less question-marks on his team.

2. Breece Hall

Credit: Brian Fluharty-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets had a disappointing season last year, but Hall still had a great year despite the chaos. He was fourth in rushing yards after contact and finished as the second best fantasy running back. The two most glaring problems for the Jets last season was quarterback play and the porous offensive line. unless Rodgers is hurt again we should not see the same struggles in that division. Offensive line was absolutely brutal for Breece hall to deal with last season causing him to have the third most tackles for loss in the NFL. With a vastly improved offensive line Breece Hall should be able to have a great season.

1. Christian McCaffrey

Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

This is the obvious first overall pick especially in PPR leagues. McCaffrey outscored the second highest running back last year by 100.8. If he isn’t the first overall pick in your fantasy league then clearly an under the table deal was made because there is no excuse to not draft him if he is on the board. He is the clear best fantasy running back for the upcoming season.

There is still quite some time until the upcoming fantasy football season, but it is important that we get ahead of the curve and decide what quarterbacks will be best to get for the upcoming draft

Here I will be counting down the top 10 Quarterbacks for the 2024-2025 Fantasy Football Season.

Note that this list is coming out very early and is subject to change depending on events that could take place in training camp or just during the offseason.

10. Joe Burrow

He will be coming off an injury this year, but he should be able to continue playing as a top-tier quarterback in the league. With his elite accuracy and Ja’Marr Chase as his wide receiver, he had to make the list. However, the brutal defenses in the AFC North, along with the fact he is coming off an injury, stops him from climbing higher in this top 10 list.

Credit: Sam Greene-USA TODAY Sports

9. Dak Prescott

Dak is under a lot of pressure to play well this year after yet another disappointing end to the season for the Cowboys, despite being third in fantasy points last season. He will need to have another MVP caliber season this year to meet expectations  With CeeDee Lamb at receiver, we should see another impressive season coming up.

Credit: Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

8. Jordan Love

Jordan Love played very well in the second half of the season, winning 6 of his last 8 regular season games, and elevating his play in the playoffs, as his team put up 48 points on what was considered a formidable defense by the Cowboys. This team will continue this year to improve with Jordan Love at the helm, and I see great strides being made this year for the QB.

Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

7. Anthony Richardson

Anthony Richardson had a great start to the year before tragically getting injured. I am confident he will continue to be the outstanding QB from last year if he stays healthy. Anthony Richardson has one of the higher ceilings of any fantasy quarterback this upcoming season.

Credit: Jenna Watson-USA TODAY Sports

6. Kyler Murray

The Cardinals got a generational wide receiver talent in the draft this year with Marvin Harrison Jr. Trey McBride also came into his own during the second half of last season. If Kyler can stay healthy the entire season and continue to be a good duel threat quarterback I see him having a great year

Credit: Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

5. Cj Stroud

Stroud is coming off an elite rookie campaign with a great situation and an even more impressive roster than last season. Stefon Diggs underneath and Tank Dell over the top will be difficult to defend, and that needs to address Nico Collins, who had an impressive season last year. Although he finished outside the top ten last year I do not expect him to miss the top ten his sophomore year.

Credit: Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

4. Patrick Mahomes

The 3x Super Bowl Champion quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs is limited in weapons this year he is still the best quarterback in the league and will continue to play as such allowing him to be a top tier fantasy quarterback.

Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

3. Lamar Jackson

The 2x MVP Quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens now having Derrick Henry on the team will be a scary offense to deal with Henry running down the center and Lamar running outside. Along with that another year of Mark Andrews as a receiving option should bode well for Lamar. He ranked 4th last season despite missing a game. I believe that this year he will be an even better runner and I wouldn’t be suprised if he ended up higher than 3rd at the end of the season.

Credit: Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

2. Jalen Hurts

Despite losing Jason Kelce the tush push will still be effective, eagles will be looking to have a bounce-back year after a disappointing end to last season and I believe he will bounce back with a massive year. Last year he had the most passing yards, passing touchdowns, and rushing touchdowns of his career, but he also had by far more interceptions and less rushing yards than the previous year.

Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

1. Josh Allen

Despite losing Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, he is still fully capable of being an elite fantasy quarterback. With his elite running ability and big arm, Josh Allen will continue to be the best fantasy quarterback in the NFL. Last year, he was the QB 1 in fantasy despite having 18 interceptions; this year, if he can reduce the number of interceptions, he will be even farther ahead of the pack as the best fantasy quarterback.

We may be 3 months away from the first game of the NFL season, but it’s never too early to talk about some fantasy football receivers. Here, I will be talking about three receivers I believe might struggle in the upcoming fantasy football playoffs.

We consider the fantasy football playoff schedule to take place during weeks 15 through 17, so if your league includes week 18 or doesn’t include week 15, this list will not apply to you.

Note that this list is coming out very early and is subject to change. While this won’t completely stop me from drafting these guys, I believe that taking an early look at these matchups prior to the draft can be very beneficial.

Credit: Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Rashee Rice Fantasy Football Playoff Schedule

Rice has had a less-than-ideal offseason, to say the least. On top of the upcoming suspension he will have a very difficult playoff schedule this year.

Rice vs Browns

To start, he will be playing against the brutal Browns defense, which allowed the fourth-lowest number of fantasy points to wide receivers last season. The scary thing about last season is that it was Jim Schwartz’s first season as the Browns’ defensive coordinator. In the upcoming year, this defense could be more comfortable in the scheme and even better.

Rice vs Texans

After that, he goes against a surprisingly good Texans defense that only allowed 10 touchdowns to receivers last year and was ranked eleventh most difficult defense for wide receivers last season.

Rice vs Steelers

Finally, he will play a decent Steelers defense that ranked third in defense against wide receivers inside the red zone, which is a problem for Rice since 6 of his 7 touchdowns last season came from within 15 yards of the end zone.

Overall, given the difficult fantasy football playoff schedule and the currently unknown amount of time he will be suspended, I am hesitant to draft him high in my leagues.

Credit: Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Jaylen Waddle Fantasy Football Playoff Schedule

Obviously, Tyreek is a must-draft NFL player who has proven to be nearly matchup-proof, and Waddle will likely get drafted within the first three rounds this year, but the upcoming fantasy football playoffs are looking difficult.

Waddle vs Texans

To start, he will be going against the Texan’s defense, which, as I mentioned earlier, was sneakily good last season and now has more promising new pieces coming from the draft in Kamari Lassiter and Callen Bullock.

Waddle vs 49ers

Following that, he has to play the 49ers defense, which is not too rough on receivers. However, if Pro Bowl safety Talanoa Hufanga is able to stay healthy this season, this defense will see improvements compared to the second half of last season.

Waddle vs Browns

In the championship round, he will be forced to play the Browns, who were ranked fourth most difficult defense for wide receivers last year, only allowing three 100+ yard games to receivers (George Pickens, Josh Downs, Puka Nacua).

Overall, I believe Waddle will have difficulty dealing with these defenses, especially the Browns, in the championship game. Waddle scares me in the playoffs because he was a receiver who struggled to find the end zone last season. With such a challenging playoff route, I am worried that he will struggle to put a good amount of points up with limited touchdowns.

Credit: Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Curtis Samuel Fantasy Football Playoff Schedule

Samuel could have some upside this season with Josh Allen as his new quarterback as one of the few receiving options for that Bills offense. However, he still will have a difficult playoff schedule in the upcoming year.

Curtis Samuel vs Lions

It will start light with the Lions, who were a bad defense last year against receivers, but after that is when his schedule gets really difficult.

Samuel vs Patriots

He then goes on to play the Patriots, who ranked 10th most difficult defense against receivers in standard leagues last season.

Samuel vs Jets

Finally, to end the season, his championship game will be against the Jets, who were already ranked the number 1 most difficult defense against receivers in both standard and PPR leagues. Last season against the Jets in week 16 he only had 1 reception for 6 yards, and although he is on a new team I do not see him having a great game this year against that brutal Jets defense.

Curtis Samuel could be a good receiver for really deep leagues this season, but his matchups in the fantasy football playoffs concern me, especially when he faces arguably the best defense in the NFL during the championship game.
